"We enjoyed 2 nights at Altiplanico prior to our trip to Torres del Paine. The room was great, including a view of the sound, with heated bathroom floors and towel rack. Restaurant food was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner. A short but scenic walk to downtown Puerto Natales along the water. Highly recommended! "

"The hotel is located close to the more peaceful part of the park - this means however that a lot of driving or long transfers are needed for the Eastern parts. Transfers and activities are horribly expensive, but this is the case everywhere in Torres del Paine. "Really nice hostel with great ocean views. Cozy and inviting common area and quite nice facility overall. The rooms are quite warm and felt a little like a sauna and the breakfast was just bread and cheese and deli meat essentially but seems to be the common hostel breakfast. Would stay again for sure"

"Clean, quaint, remodeled hotel on hill which offers a nice view of Puerto Natales. 5 minute walk to bus station which was very convenient for bus trip to both the Torres del Paine park entrance and Puntas Arenas. Staff was very nice and the breakfast offered lots of healthy options. Only downside was the downtown area is about a 15 minute walk and the dogs around this neighborhood bark all night but I think that is an issue everywhere because the dogs sleep all day on the front yards/porches...

"The cabin we stayed in was simple and old. The beds were comfortable and we had hot water without any problems. The WiFi does not work during peak usuage hours and needs to be upgraded. It is fine during quiet times during the say. The kitchen is supplied with the bare minimum, no salt etc. The bathroom does not have a shelf to put your toothbrush etc so you are stuck with the edge of the sink or the floor. "We booked a room with a view of The Massif and it was completely worth it as the view is incredible! You also get the same view from the dining room and bar and comfy seating areas which were great for relaxing and taking it all in. The room was clean and modern although only minor disappointment was the bathroom which could do with an upgrade to match the quality of the rest of the hotel. The pool was lovely, a great space to relax after a long hike the day before. Initially we had concerns over being isolated in this location but for a couple of days we had no issues. Good dining options in the hotel and we booked hikes and transfers through ‘The Masssif’ who are based at the hotel and we’re great. Overall highly recommend."
