"The room was clean (slightly compact, but OK for 1 night) and the bed comfortable, and we slept well (= temperature right/controllable and no noticeable noise disturbances through the night) The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were efficient We ate in the restaurant and had a promptly served and well cooked, tasty meal Breakfast (included) was really good too Overall good value for money (especially compared to a different Chichester hotel we stayed in previously which was ~20% more expensive and failed on a couple of the points mentioned above, and didn't include breakfast either Our visit was to go to the Festival Theatre, and the Nags Head was perfect for that, and easily within walking distance Thanks to all the staff!"
THE FOX GOES FREE

"We only used the Fox for bed and breakfast so cannot comment on the food except that our breakfast was delayed because a new chef had been taken on and it was his first day. Our cosy little and quiet room in the courtyard had very comfortable beds and all the usual facilities. Pub was very quiet on the Tuesday evening which surprised but did not deter us. The overflow car park needs major attention as it was full of deep potholes. Would stay again."

"I have just returned from Another lovely stay at The Cottage. I have visited several occasions before over the last few years. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. Location is great for my needs and the room is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. I will always book here when possible."

"2 night stay room was very clean the breakfast was continental and there was very everything you could think of the food served throughout the day and evening was very good The staff were very helpful and polite would definitely recommend and stay again"

"The staff were wonderful and cheerful. Restaurant and bar were excellent. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The property is within a five minute walk to the theatres and cathedral. I would definitely stay here again!"
