The rooms are old, bad ventilated and do smell bad. The hotel is used as hub for flight crews, noisy tourist groups ...so do not expect undisturbed nights ... it is very noisy. The stuff is generally helpful and friendly, but not on top of the situation. They were unable to provide me with the room type as ordered and where not able to compensate for that ... I am very disappointed.

This hotel was next to both train lines and near Restaurant or convent stores. They also have shuttle to and from airport Narita. Very easy to get access to either train line. If you prefer the bus is also in same area.

Good value for money
This hotel offers good value for money, with modest but comfortable accommodation, not expensive, conveniently located in the centre of town with shops & restauants handy, and good shuttle bus service to the airport. The staff were friendly & helpful, and most spoke good English.

Great location, hard beds
The hotel was great! The beds and pillows were not very comfortable, but my sister told me that they were "normal" from what she knows of staying in Japan. This was my first trip to Japan, so I did not have anything to compare it to. The location was perfect for us, close to the train station and Narita-san Temple.

Convenient Option - Good Value
Good spot. Good food options in the hotel. Service staff were wonderful. Bed was very firm by U.S. standards. Hotel is a bit dated once you get in your room. Good value overall.

It’s a convenient place to stay. However the access was poor as there were not often enough shuttle buses to hotel. And I can see it’s quite an old hotel that bathtub didn’t look so good.

Trying to COOL off
Convient location near train and bus stations. Rooms are small and sometimes very hot. I stay here often during all times of the year and the air conditioning system is very weak. We asked the front desk to have our window unlocked so we could sleep with it opened since outside was much cooler than inside the room.

Very close to major train station, free shuttle service to airport, our room was spacious and beds very comfy. Bathroom was a little dated. The breakfast buffet was a fabulous spread of Japanese and western selections, lots of choices and fabulous food. Staff were very helpful, would stay again at this hotel.

Hotel is showing its age and is far from airport.

Whenever I travel to Japan I stay at this hotel. Staff is helpful and kind, overall speak fairly good English. Rooms are decent size with lots of little amenities. Restaurant downstairs is decent food though little of the expensive side. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great Location
Hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport and is in a good location with many things to do. Overall the hotel was decent and perfect for an overnight stay. This isn’t a 5 Star hotel but overall a nice hotel and I was pleased with my stay.

Near shops and restaurants. Since quite a distance from Airport they should provide additional shuttle pick up. Bus only every other hour..so if you miss ur bus ride you have to wait almost 2 hours for next ride.

One night in Narita
check in was very quick and easy. directions to room was clear and concise. overall impression of room: clean and tidy. double bed setup was way bigger than expected (cali king inspired). location of hotel is VERY close to train station and surrounding eateries and shops. loved taking a walk! a couple of concerns: wasn’t real clear on regulating the temp in the room. it was a little too warm and we had a hard time getting comfortable. there is a ramp right as you walk in and it’s camoflaged with the rest of the carpet. quite a tripping hazard; would have loved a warning about that. could definitely hear the chatter in the hallways and the noise from the train station (right outside our window) so light sleepers may have a hard time.

Try to book a room as far away as possible from the railway lines (higher floors and the opposite side of the building). The trains kept us awake from 0500 to 0100. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.

We usually stay here because of the convenience of the 2 stations. The rooms are old but our room was larger than the rooms in the newer hotels and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.We had a late flight so paid extra (almost the cost of an extra night!) to stay until 4pm and then caught the free shuttle to the airport. We thought it was worth it because we knew we would be awake all night.

Just An Overnight Rest - Perfect
I picked this hotel as I flew into Narita at about mid-afternoon and planned on a night of rest. As far as I can tell only a cubicle hotel is IN that airport, so you have to go off-site for a real one. A shuttle can get you from the airport there, but it doesn't run very often, but the tourist info booth staff have the schedule, and also can tell you how to take the much more frequent train to the correct station to get there. I did this, pretty straightforward, only a click or two. When you exit the Narita City station, go left - the Mercure is a half a block up. My room was small but comfy, the bar totally adequate, the food I ordered there OK, not great. An easy stay, and in the AM the shuttle (free) back to the airport was prompt. (It takes almost half an hour to get there.). Be sure you know the right terminal before you get on!

My room was very dated
This was an ok place for the money. I only picked it because my flight was deverted to Japan and I needed a place to stay for the night. There was a dingy smell in the room and the floors and curtains had stains, but the bedding was clean. I thought the breakfast of $15 USD was way overpriced. I would not stay here again.

Nice hotel close to Narita-san
Fairly nice and comfortable hotel close to the Narita temple and gardens. A fitness club is available for a small extra fee. Our bathroom had a problem with mold but otherwise the room was quite comfortable. Seems like a good choice for an overnight layover at Narita airport.

Excellent location for a 2 day layover
The location of this hotel could not have been more perfect. They have a free shuttle from the airport. Then Otmesando street is a short walk, literally on the same street as the hotel. And only about 15-20 min walk is Naritasan temple. The hotel is also practically across the street from a major transit hub so you can easily access the trains to the city. So walkable! The staff was very helpful. The buffet was great and there were 3 other restaurants in the hotel too as well as dozens of restaurants in the immediate area. The accommodations were very comparable to a best western in the US and they had a generous amount of toiletries, no detail surpassed. Just enough room to not feel cramped. I highly recommend this hotel.
