Our stay at Maison d'Hôtes Afassi was great, although we only had one day to explore Chefchaouen. Ahmed was very friendly and helped us pinpoint the must-visit attractions on Google Maps, considering our short stay. Our bus departed at 7 a.m. the next day, so we couldn’t have breakfast at the hotel. However, we are very thankful that Ahmed packed us some food the night before to eat on the bus. We highly recommend everyone visiting Chefchaouen to stay at Maison d'Hôtes Afassi.

The 2 receptionists were helpful, friendly and lovely people!! The hotel and our room was very quiet and clean. We had a delicious breakfast with plenty of food on the rooftop terrace! The hotel was not located in the Medina, it was about a 10 minute walk uphill. We would highly recommend a stay here if you’re visiting Chefchaouen!

Both of the receptionist were awesome! To helping my wife when she was feeling sick to giving us a specified tour of chefchaouen on Google maps! I would definitely stay again. Room was clean and had adequate heating and cooling plus a private shower that didn't leak in Morocco which is unheard of. Definitely recommend!

Hospitality was simply unsurpassable! Both Assya and Ahmed, our hosts, made our stay memorable and enjoyable. We were treated as a family or guests of honor. They shared with us a walkable tour link, which was fun, and some local restaurants recommendations, both excellent! Also little things, like bottled water, even pastries for the bus :) The property itself is beautiful, clean, great location within minutes walk from the old town and the CTM bus station. There are two terraces with a wonderful view of the mountains. Breakfast was the best we had in Morocco. Room had great view, there were extra warm blankets, and the room has the modern heater that’s easy to regulate with a remote and is quiet. Highly recommend and would stay again! Not a single thing that i can think of to be improved, everything was superb :)

Bien situé à une quinzaine de minutes de marche de la vieille ville. Possibilité de se garer devant ou rues à côté. Personnel adorable et professionnel qui donne d'excellentes informations pour les visites et restaurants. La discussion s'est fait uniquement en anglais car ils ne parlent pas français et je ne parle pas arabe. Très bon petit-déjeuner en terrasse ou pièces couvertes si la météo est mauvaise. Chambre 6 grande et confortable. Pas d'ascenseur. Débit d'eau chaude très faible quand sûrement plusieurs personnes l'utilise.

Tout était parfait! Excellent accueil. Nous avions une chambre et un salon avec salle de bain. Un grand espace confortable. Le déjeuner était très bien et nous avons reçu plusieurs conseils pour notre visite.

Best hotel and friendly services in Morocco!
Very friendly and easy to reach after booking. Very helpful for parking my car and gave tons of great recommendations and suggestions to tour around the area! Marked several places to check out and without his help we couldn't check out local spots and restaurants. Very helpful throughout our stay and highly recommended! We look forward to come back again :)

Spotless and a great wifi bonus.
A newly revamped hotel within walking distance of the bus station Maison D’hotes Afrassi went above and beyond when I had a mix up with dates. The hotel was pleasant, new,clean and breakfast was traditional. Wifi is good. It is a bit of a walk to the Medina and if you have more than a small backpack the hike uphill could be a bit of a struggle. There is always a taxi if the suitcase has worn out it’s wheels. Overall the hotel itself is a great place , the staff pleasant.
