"We had a high school bass tournament at Jimmie Davis State Park. But as usual, all the cabins at JDSP were booked. This gem of a place, PawPaw’s Place, was better than imagined. We were a family of four sharing with another family of three and it worked out perfectly. It was close to the tournament and places to eat. The owner, Dawn Scott, gave us all of the information before the trip, and then again the day we were traveling. She gave things to do, places to go and eat and everything you need...
