It was easy walking to many restaurants and it was a clean hotel with a nice contemporary breakfast,however the valet costs 40 dollars a night ( typical for that area) and when we were leaving in the morning there was no valet person to get our car and we waited 35 minutes. Finally the lady behind the counter was able to retrieve our keys so my husband to get the car.

Valet lost vehicle keys for almost an hour which was blamed on front desk. Front desk had an attitude about valet spelling the name wrong and it was unnecessary back and forth to locate my vehicle and was still charged the $40 for the Valet service and had to open up a case with general customer support. Overall property is cleaned and conveniently located. Front desk needs to take more accountability and demonstrate better customer service.

Beautiful hotel… that staff for May 19th at the front desk was a bit rude when asking them a question, which you feel uncomfortable to ask questions...but the room was clean and the bathroom is nice, great view … breakfast is good but not great… no waffle or pancakes just eggs and two different types of sausage that’s for buffet style

Exceptional stay! Hotel was super clean with a wonderful breakfast. Enjoyed visiting the Red Eye Diner! That is a MUST. Valet was easy & convenient versus self parking. We had an awesome view of the center of Charlotte. Location was ideal with several restaurant and bars within walking distance.

Our bed linens had not been changed from previous guest. We had spots of blood smear and hair on them. So gross. I asked the front desk for clean sheets and the clerk said,"fine" I will send some up. No apology. When a guy came up with two sets of linens, he just smirked and said " here." Did not offer to put the sheets on. So we did ourselves. This is not our usual experience with any hotel and especially not with Marriott brand. The next morning in reporting to the desk clerk our experience, she was very nice and apologetic.

I enjoyed my stay, my only complaints are they could be more thorough when cleaning between guests. There was a used rag in the shower, and the body wash hadn’t been refilled.
