Wonderful staff members were very nice and upbeat! Great breakfast, a fridge in the room with complimentry beverages, and the turned down bedding with a mint on the pillow all made this a great and special place to stay!
Beautiful home in a private setting. The home is beautiful and located on the water. Great decor with nice bedrooms and a movie theater. The owner was easily accessible and worked with us when there was a power outage. If you are headed to the Charlotte area check it out.
This hotel is right off the freeway, but away from the hustle and bustle. Nice and quiet community. Rooms were extremely clean. You can tell they take pride in keeping up the place. It's an extended stay, but you can rent nightly. LCD tvs in living room and bedroom. Great sized bathroom. Pillow top mattress really helped after 3-hour drive. Slept like a baby. The manager was really attentive and helpful. This is great for those needing just to sleep. Not recommended for families as there is no pool or playground.

From the moment of my arrival, I was convinced that I made the right choice for my stay. The check-in process was very smooth. I was given an opportunity to upgrade and took advantage of the offer. Responses to my inquiries about dining, entertainment, shopping, getting around Charlotte, etc., were immediate, helpful and accurate. As I toured the area of the Ritz's location to visit other hotel chain that I most often frequent, I continued to be very happy having chosen the Ritz.
The staff was universally customer focused. Any request was met with an enthusiastic and efficient response. I observed other guests being assisted and came away feeling that my experienced was--as far as I could determine--in keeping with Ritz's approach to serving their guests. The consierge, Mark, especially went above and beyond--at one point--walking me to a restaurant near The Ritz Carlton to make sure I found my way there easily.
Set in a quiet and leafy neighbourhood, amongst other grand houses, the Duke Mansion was a lucky find. The gardens were very attractive and our room was very comfortable. An ideal place to spend a first or last night in US

I had a business meeting at TIAA-CREF which is nearby. Friendly front desk staff, room was very comfortable and decor was stylish and seemed recently updated. Got in late our first night and the bartender didn't give us any issues getting food even though it was close to closing time. I would stay there again.
