Very few electric receptacles (1) and zero usb ports. Not convenient for charging phones and tablets. Also the door to the room was incredibly hard to open for me and nearly impossible for my wife

I checked in at 9pm and tried to take a shower. There was no hot water, none. After taking a cold shower, I went to the front desk to alert them to this issue. The offered me another room. I asked them if another room would really make a difference as it was directly accross the hall. After going into the next room, there was no hot water there either. The front desk response was that many people must be showering and shrugged his shoulders. At breakfast the next day, many people were talking about the lack of hot water. The hotel is dated, has many stains in the room and is in need of a freshening up. I would have rather stayed at the Holiday Inn next door.

Clean. Good, quiet location. Not up to usual Hampton Inn in some ways. Very strange front desk/check-in experience (no one there for a bit and then flat and unresponsive). Wi-fi worked fine but was slower than most, no free outlets in the room (had to unplug a lamp, the clock and the coffeepot to get charges for laptops and phones), no closet or iron, no "please do not disturb" door hanger (we weren't disturbed), and weirdly, when you sat at the desk, the underside was so rough and unfinished that it left abrasions on our clothes. That's a new one. We travel a lot and stay in many hotels.

Not up to Hampton Inn standards that I am familiar with. Rooms are tired. Limited hot water in shower. No plug ins by the night stand.

I considered the Hampton Inn brand as a leader in upper limited service hotels. This property looked very poorly maintained and beaten up. It was very much notable and very unlike Hampton Inn. I would NOT go back to this property and The franchise should take immediate action

The property and people are fantastic. Had an issue which forced a room change, and the staff could not have been more kind and accommodating. Great continental breakfast. One thing potential customers should be aware of before booking is that the property is directly across the street from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, a fire station, and a light rail crossing. That can cause a bit of a ruckus in the wee hours of the morning. Otherwise, fantastic.

Che kin was a breeze, the desk staff were polite professional, and quick. Within minutes we had our entry cards. The room and facilities are clean.

We came on a two day shopping trip, and this place was just fine and located an ideal distance between all the big box stores we needed to hit up, so it was very efficient for us. I would definitely stay here again on a shopping trip.

Nice hotel- Close to Light Rail and UNCC
This was the second time I’ve booked this property. The front desk was helpful and friendly with each interaction- checkin, checkout, and each time in between. The king bed was pretty comfortable, and everything was clean and tidy in the room. Largest refrigerator I’ve seen in a hotel room, so there was plenty of room for my beverages. It was easy taking the stairs in lieu of the elevator. The workout room was small but was able to get in a good sweat on the elliptical machine. The breakfast setup was nice and the workers very friendly. The food selection was good, but I stuck to cereal, juice, a banana and a danish. My stay was great and will definitely book again if in town for a UNCC event again.

The room was perfect for what I needed it for, sleep as it was just a stopover on my way back to college. Very comfortable and clean and had an amazing breakfast with multiple g/f options which I appreciated.

Great stay over the holidays
Great stay. Room & bathroom was very clean. Bed & pillows were comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was standard, but fresh & timely each morning; coffee was hot & fresh. Area was quiet. We were visiting family for the holidays, so was focused on location. Overall, a really good stay. Would stay again.
