The hotel was okay. Nothing exceptional. I have a very sense of smell and there was something that wasn’t agreeing with that sense. It was bearable, however. Overall a good stay.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and made very little noise. There were many restaurants to chose from, and the Mexican place across the street served delicious food. Breakfast was pretty typical, decent. We were disturbed late into the night by loud guests in the room next to ours. We had been driving 11 hours and were too exhausted to get up and complain. There should be a strict policy of quiet after 10 pm and regular monitoring of the hallways to ensure this.

This is an older property, just needs a little touch up in some areas. The bathrooms were clean, but the shower curtain could be changed as well as the bedroom curtains.

Overall a good 2 night stay! A little outdated property but not too bad. Beds were comfortable. Good cable selection. Shower didn’t drain properly but that’s an easy fix. Located in an area with restaurants and shopping available. Pretty decent breakfast with the normal pastries, cereal, yogurt, waffle maker, as well as sausage, bacon, eggs, and pancakes. Thanks for a good stay!

We stay here everytime we visit. Have been for 6 years now. Love the staff. Always quite, clean and relaxing. Love the mexican restaurant across the parking lot too!

Visitors smoking marijuana by elevators. Blocking access. Front staff was unapproachable for complains do to a loud conversation she was having with what we assume was her SO. Whirlpool in room had to be cleaned by me prior to use due to excessive hair and fibers in filter.

Very good quality at a budget price. Very clean - rooms have fridges and microwaves; breakfast is limited but adequate, coffee in lobby a big plus. Comfortable beds and functional TVs. What else could a guest want

Old building, needs updated. Thin walls and people playing music. A lot of construction workers stay here with various people smoking outside. Parking lot cramped with very small spaces. Would not recommend to families. Beds comfortable and bath shower combo very nice.

My recent stay at Comfort Inn Matthews was fairly average. While the location proved convenient, nestled within easy reach of local attractions, the overall experience didn't quite meet my expectations. The room, although clean, felt slightly dated in terms of decor and amenities. The staff, though polite, didn't go above and beyond, which left a bit to be desired in terms of hospitality. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, but the options were somewhat limited and repetitive. While it served the basic needs for accommodation, it lacked the memorable aspects that would inspire a return visit. This hotel could benefit from some updates and enhanced customer service efforts to truly stand out.
