Lovely old inn with modern amenities. Spacious, clean room with tall ceilings. Great, hot shower!! We had a wonderful weekend and were able to park the car and walk everywhere. Thank you!!

The hotel was walking distance to all the restaurants And shops. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when we visit.

This Inn is located in a great area right in the middle of shopping and dining. While the Inn is clean, its decor is quite tired and in need of some major sprucing up.

Such a beautiful building and location. It was very quaint and frankly couldn't have been more perfect. Staff were friendly and efficient. Great value.

So good. Only place I'll stay now in Charleston
10/10, can't say enough good about this. The location is pretty much perfect, the staff super friendly and helpful, it's a cool building, parking is super convenient. The price for what you get location-wise is incredible.

I have stayed at Charleston many times, the last one being at The Charleston Place. It obviously cannot compared as the cost there is many times over, but this is a "Boutique" hotel that makes you feel like you are at home. Pros: Daily breakfast in bed. Located in the middle of shopping and great restaurants. Walking distance to the Port. Inexpensive parking right next to the Hotel. Happy (free) hour with nice wines and snacks. Excellent staff. Cons: We only stayed 4 days. Definitely the place to stay if you are traveling to Charleston.

Lovely stay in Charleston
Loved the historic look of the hotel and our room, and how very quiet it was. Everything was clean, and having breakfast brought to our room was a real luxury. The tub didn't drain well, but everything else was perfect, including the comfy beds and the nice big closet.

Great location that is close to many shops and restaurants. Easy to catch public transport. Hotel was clean with nice staff. Free breakfast was a plus. The only con was the terrible water pressure of the shower.

Eveything was excellent. The only thing i would say is that the breakfast was misleading. I was picturing a hot breakfast such as eggs, bacon, etc. I wouldn't have thought I needed to ask if the complimentary breakfast included was a “hot” one. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful hotel and everyone was very kind.

Nice inn on king street
Good location, spacious room, breakfast delivered to room is nice, pleasant staff. Bed was a little hard and walls thin. But good value for Charleston and we were happy overall.

Quite nice! Conveniently located on the edge of the French Quarter with plenty of parking. Breakfasts are nicely delivered to the room and custom ordered the night before. Rooms are good sized and nicely appointed. They offer wine and cheeses evenings at a sister property too. A small lobby is tucked away in an alley which is nice and quiet

Friendly Staff Fantastic Stay
Our stay was fantastic. The hotel front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a late flight on our last day so it was very nice that they were happy to do luggage storage for us. The wine and cheese in the evening was a nice touch too. I would definitely stay again.
Entrance is down the alley on the side (aka Fulton Lane) between the two buildings with storefronts

Just an awesome stay!
This was a last minute oversight stay and it was great. Hotel was clean/ comfortable. Also an excellent location. In the heart of anything and everything not once after checking in did we have to use our car. We were able to walk about very easily to shops, dinner etc.

Charming Inn
We stayed here for our 20th anniversary weekend. It was a comfortable, spacious room. There was a wine and cheese hour, which we missed but we enjoyed complimentary sherry in the lobby. Breakfast was brought to our room each morning which was really nice. The location was perfect!! We walked everywhere we wanted to go. No view from the windows as ours faced a brick wall but that was no big deal. It is a very charming Inn and we enjoyed our stay!

An absolutely amazing stay. The staff was superior, and if you would like to be in an area known for shopping this is definitely it. The staff always seems to make or break a place; they made this one.
