"We were a little underwhelmed when we stayed at the Dewberry. It is nice but not for the price you pay. We stayed at another hotel for 3 days before that & had impeccable service & rooms so maybe that is why but we didn't feel like there was anything really special about our room here. The location is far away from all the things we wanted to do, which was fine because we don't mind walking, but just something to note. The rooftop bar is a must & you get preferred access if you stay there which is really what you are paying for. I had added an upgrade to our room for a bottle of champagne to be sent up to our room when we checked in but it never came. We left early the next morning to go to the airport & when we got in the car my husband realized we left some pictures in our room so I sent the hotel a message to see if they could get them for us before they cleaned the room, but I never even heard back from anyone. Overall the stay was fine but we just figured for the price it would be a little more upscale."
