"I enjoyed a week at Embassy suites, it was a perfect home for the annual art festival, Spoleto. All staff members were excellent, including valet, evening reception hosts and bartenders, housekeeping, and breakfast room staff, but Tristan really stands out. He was always there to greet me with a big smile and ask how we were, and what more he could do to make our visit memorable. He was so gracious at check in, and offered us an early check in that happened to be available. His recommendations were spot on - he knows where to find the good seafood. He has a big bright presence that lights up the floor. Thank you Embassy and THANK YOU TRISTAN 🌟! We will definitely return."

The Dewberry Charleston

"We were a little underwhelmed when we stayed at the Dewberry. It is nice but not for the price you pay. We stayed at another hotel for 3 days before that & had impeccable service & rooms so maybe that is why but we didn't feel like there was anything really special about our room here. The location is far away from all the things we wanted to do, which was fine because we don't mind walking, but just something to note. The rooftop bar is a must & you get preferred access if you stay there which is really what you are paying for. I had added an upgrade to our room for a bottle of champagne to be sent up to our room when we checked in but it never came. We left early the next morning to go to the airport & when we got in the car my husband realized we left some pictures in our room so I sent the hotel a message to see if they could get them for us before they cleaned the room, but I never even heard back from anyone. Overall the stay was fine but we just figured for the price it would be a little more upscale."
