"We really enjoyed the stays in the hotel Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Great location which is just beside the plaza and easy access to everything. There is a lounge my husband love to go and rest, lovely. The staff gave my baby a lion doll with the hotel name on it the day we checked out. It made his day. Very sweet"

"This hotel had all of the potential to be the perfect end to our trip, but unfortunately protests during our stay made it hard to enjoy everything around the hotel. Obviously this is no fault of the hotel but important to note because from what I can tell, this may be a recurring issue, so it should be considered. Pros: *Central location right next to the Cathedral, El Templo Mayor Museum & Zocalo, and a short walk to many other attractions and shopping *Snacks and cold drinks in the mini fridge as well as a coffee maker in the room that are hard to come by in hotels today *Queen sized beds *Terrace on each floor to enjoy the views of the cathedral *Interior rooms didn't have the most amazing view, but better than expected *Cool interior with glass floor over the ruins *Free breakfast and drinks because of the challenging circumstances and they have the best bread and butter Cons: *We had to walk about 15 minutes through what felt like an opening scene in "Man on Fire" to get to the hotel: packed streets with people, vendors, protestor tents, and us (Husband, and 2 teenage kids) rolling 5 suitcases. I'm not sure many folks could hack this. *Loud noise and partying in the next room which wasn't addressed by the hotel, even after I tool the elevator down at 12 am to complain (couldn't call from room)"

"Please call ahead to make sure the streets are open. We had a shocking experience when we arrived. We had to walk several blocks with our luggage. There was a strike and people were on the streets sleeping and blocking the entrances. Also the room was poorly maintained. I came back with many bug bites. Even though I reported the itching and the stained bedsheets and requested clean sheets, the situation did not improve. The property is in a good location with many restaurants around but with the protests many places were closed. I don't think I would stay at this property again just because of the poor attention to the rooms. The coffee pot was very filthy as well."

"Checar las pólizas del hotel & las políticas de expedia, si la reservation atraves de expedia 4 adultos y un niño joven, tuve que pagar por 2 habitación, los cual está bien no hay problema, al hacer el checking tuve que pagar $750 pesos mexicanos adicionales ya que mi hijo en las pólizas de ellos en un adulto ya que es mayor de 12 años, y como no fue registrado como adulto supuestamente solo la reservation aumaticamente cambiaba a 4 personas y el era el quinto adulto y requería pagar por el, cuando cada habitación era para 4 personas, lo cual serían 8 personas por 2 habitaciones, no me hace sentido"

"Room was small and tight but overall the beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. They only have one small elevator that goes up and down so sometimes it was a pain having to wait for the elevator, but overall great experience. Surprisingly this hotel provides free food and drinks 24/7 which was an added bonus. It is close to Zocalo, but during my stay they only had two entrances available to enter the area."
