"A very nicely appointed hotel with a lovely, very chill view patio area that shares with outdoor dining for the attached restaurant, Home Grown. There was another gathering spot (2nd floor patio?) with a fire pit and heat towers that we saw from an upper floor.
The hotel had hot water on demand, a comfortable bed and was very quiet. We parked on the street for free overnight and fed the meter starting at 8 AM for $1.75 per hour. We could have used valet parking except the street space we found abutted the valet drop off area out in front of the hotel.
The Home Grown restaurant is brunch offering from 6:30 am to 2 pm with reasonable pricing and a salsa verde pork and eggs menu item that is out of this world good!! Their food products are locally sourced.
The Archer Hotel Alexandria was a convenient (7 minute drive), less expensive, perfect spot to stay after the Four Tops/Temptations concert we attended at the MGM National Harbor."
