Beautiful older building that was upgraded just enough to hold onto the charm of the era. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. You walk out the front door and you’re right in the heart of the shops and restaurants.

This was my second stay at the Washington Inn and like the first it was wonderful; very friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and great location. I highly recommend and will be back again.

We had a wonderful time at the Washington House. We stayed in a beautiful room with two fireplaces, a two-person whirlpool tub. It was two levels; it was a beautiful room. The only complaint about room 220 was the mattress. Sadly, my back still hurts. The mattress should have been replaced at least 10 years ago in our opinion. That was the only complaint about our stay. Breakfast was good for continental. It was a very cool building, and the area is beautiful and walkable.

Everything was wonderful, the venue is so cozy, the location is great, the staff is amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. The only complaint is that the building is old so the walls are probably not insulated very well, we could hear the shower, toilet flush and walking from the units above us and sometimes it was pretty late at night, but other than that no other complaints.

The Washington House Inn was a great place to stay. Located right on the main street in Cedarburg, you don't need to drive to find plenty of shops and dining options. The hotel staff was excellent and nice. Rooms are quaint but decorated nicely and feel homey. A soak in the large jet tub was great after a long day of being on my feet.

We had another wonderful stay at the Washington House Inn this weekend! The complimentary food wine and cheese hour from 5-6 is always great! Breakfast was delicious each morning with lots of different options. We also appreciated they have full service housekeeping available again! We will be back!

Could definitely use modernization to be consistent with the price of rooms.. and maybe the styling of the rooms is more hodge-podge than vintage of an era. However for a large radius this is the only option for personality and an attempt (although that was a while ago) of quality.

Make time to enjoy this!
This was our first trip through the area and we will definitely be back! Our Wittenberg room was lovely...liked the sunken bedroom, the beautiful stained glass windows, the incredible tub/shower. The breakfast was amazing! Fruit, quiche, pastries, yogurt bar, fresh juice, hot coffee, all in a beautiful dining room. We will be delighted to revisit and stay longer next time.

We loved the Washington House Inn! For being as old as it is, the property was very clean and well kept. It is located in excellent proximity to a variety of shops and places to eat. The staff was extremely friendly and gave suggestions of where to eat dinner when we asked. We will most definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.
