"We stayed at the hotel Royal for 2 nights in October. The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the centre, however it is up quite a steep hill, so if you have a lot of baggage it’s not ideal. The room itself was ok, not as nice as the one shown in pictures but the bed was comfortable. Sadly the room smelled of feet and we had no toilet seat and had request one.One of the main reasons for booking was the jacuzzi, however we later found it was €30 per couple per hour to use. "Nicely design hotel in the park environment, Close to the Catania airport. Lunch was excellent, however grilled octopus for dinner was burned and not edible. When I complained to the restaurant manager I was told that this is a matter of opinion and I was charged for this non edible meal. My bill indicated free desert which not served. Restaurant manager ruined our good impression about this hotel."

"Property was spectacular. Breakfast was adequate. Drunk Bros bar across the road is a must. Area just very run down and dirty. Real shame. Be great if there were a pool but the hotel was beautiful ! "
