This property is very much a budget hotel - even for a 2-star property. You get the bare minimum for everything - toiletries are sparse, towels are rough and small, bed is very uncomfortable (both our backs hurt from the mattress, and one of us ended up sleeping on the sofa because it was so uncomfortable), and the place hasn’t been updated in what seems like decades. The hallway fire alarm went off during our visit, but it was pretty quiet, which is somewhat alarming given its purpose. The door locks operate by electronic card reader, but the technology is poor, so you have to be careful not to store your electronic card key by anything electronic (cellphone, smartwatch, etc.), otherwise it runs the risk of erasing your key’s programming. While one ac unit worked well and was newer, the other ac unit was old and struggled to put out cold air. The room kind of felt like a very old dorm room.
On the positive side, the staff were polite and helpful, and the facility was overall clean. Finding parking was never an issue, and the place was very quiet, which was nice.
While saving money on lodging is important, I would definitely spend more to stay somewhere else in the future.
