Great place. Lovely owners.
We loved this place. It is very well situated on a main road (which is still pretty quiet) with an easy 10 minute walk up a slight hill to the village to get coffee and morning baguette. There are a couple nice restaurants in town (highly recommend Le 6 a Table) and it is easy to get to several other small towns in the area. The gite itself is comfortable and stays surprisingly cool during very hot weather. Anyone staying in the second bedroom has to come through the first bedroom to access the rest of the rental but this didn't bother us. The pool is actually beside the owner's home about 100 feet away which feels a little awkward at first traipsing into their back yard but Gilles and Cerise very quickly make you feel at home. The grounds are very nicely kept with a couple different spots for sitting. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wifi is not accessible while you are inside the gite, you have to go outside. Also the equipment in the kitchen is not top rate (dull knives etc) but this is very common in any rental. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to a friend. Have fun and make sure to take full advantage of the wealth of local information and hospitality of Gilles and Cerise!
