"The room itself was clean, and the bed, linens, and pillows were comfortable. The outlets and fixtures in my room were in working order, but a number of people in my party had rooms with nonfunctional outlets and lamps. The smoke detector in my room was in the desk drawer. That was alarming (pun intended). The breakfast was typical complementary fare. It was maybe a little below average. The first morning, I went to get orange juice and the dispenser dispensed water. I couldn't find an attendant. The staff was around when called but generally invisible. Admittedly, I didn't try very hard to get their attention because we had other places to be. We had chosen the location for its proximity to the wedding we were attending. The location was convenient. The property does not appear to to have been updated in years—other than possibly mattresses, bedding, and bathroom countertops. The pool looked nice, but we didn't have time to use it. If an up-to-date room and amenities are important to you, this is not the place. If you're just looking for a comfortable bed, it might work. I would check for the smoke detector first."
