The property is enchanting, so well situated right in the heart of town but one block off the Main Street so nice a quiet, and the staff is cheerful and so helpful.

Brilliant Stay.
Wonderful, large rooms, quiet room and gardens with lovely pool. 5 mins from the main street and access to restaurants but you wouldn't be able to tell by the noise level. Really helpful staff and great breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Delightful setting, really close to centre of Franschhoek, but tranquil and peaceful. Staff are excellent. Service, attentiveness and helpfulness are brilliant. The breakfasts are lovely. Really great stay, enhanced by the great team at Macaron Boutique. Would definitely stay again.

A great base for Franschhoek
We stayed for two nights and were really pleased. Very well located near to the main street and within easy drive of many wine estates. Breakfast and the staff were great and there is a nice pool. We would stay again.

Great place!
A very comfortable small hotel. Two nice pools and very comfortable and quiet considering how close it is to the downtown restaurants and the Franschoek wine tram terminal. Great breakfast to.

A quaint yet very modern guest house!
A quaint yet very modern guest house. The room was spotless and ideally located just off the main road yet central to the Franschoek town. I have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone!

Perfect combination of peaceful and close to every
The property is stunning and the location a perfect combination of peaceful yet close to the main street through Franschhoek. Unfortunately we tried several times to gain wifi access but were repeatedly given the wrong password and so never got to use it. Our room could have been cleaner, but was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely return.

Oh we had such a lovely time at this guest house! Staff were incredible friendly, breakfast was delicious and beds were so comfortable! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely getaway. We did the wine tram which was only a few mins by foot away. Thank you lovely Nadia and your team for the best 2 days stay.

Definitely recommend
We had the most amazing time at Macaron, everything was absolutely perfect. The location is ideal, the pool very inviting and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this guest house.

Oasis in Franschhoek
This guest house is set in a quiet area but so convenient for all the wonderful attractions of Franschhoek. The accommodation is excellent and the grounds well maintained, with many lovely sitting areas. The stars though are Nadia and her staff who made us so welcome and looked after us so well. We wish them all the very best in these difficult times.

We had the mountain view room which was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was cooked to order and was very good. Location was good and close to all restaurants and shops etc. I would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.

So enjoyable, the stay fits the town!
We only stayed overnight (due to next-day obligation), but before we'd had our breakfast we wished we could have remained at least an additional night. Clean, cordial and convenient (3C's), we wouldn't have asked for anymore, very happy with our visit and will definitely return!

Winter Vacation
We stayed for 2 nights in June. The hospitality was amazing. We arrived in town at 9 pm and a security guard was there to give us our keys. Be warned, however, that in the winter this is a sleepy town and with no late dinner options. Hot water bottles to warm the bed and a fire in the fireplace made this a cozy stay. The breakfasts were delicious and the view of the mountains is breathtaking.

Beautiful sanctuary in Franschhoek!
Welcoming host who made your trip special from start to finish, recommending lots of things to do and see. We stayed in the most beautiful and well positioned room 7 with stunning mountain views outside your window. Great location, just off the high street but peacefully set back. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We even managed a dip in the pool. Will definitely be back! Thank you

Moderne, saubere Zimmer und schöne Hotelanlage mit 2 Pools. Staff ist sehr freundlich. Leider wurde uns ein Zimmer mit defekter Klimaanlage gegeben, welche während unseres Aufenthalts nicht repariert werden konnte. Ein Zimmerwechsel musste durch mich telefonisch bei dem Management angefragt werden. Hier hätte ich mir besseren Service gewünscht.

Wir haben ein Lux Zimmer gebucht für 195 € die Nacht, leider haben wir Zimmer Nr. 2 bekommen direkt am Eingang und neben dem Waschraum und den Frühstücktischen. Das Zimmer war klein, es besteht nicht die Möglichkeit 2 Koffer aufzumachen ohne sich Wege zu verbauen. Das Bett ist kurz und nicht für Pers. über 186cm geeignet auf Grund der Größe des Raumes. Um 05.30 wurden vor unseren Zimmer Eisentische gerückt um 06.00 kam das Personal sich unterhaltend vor unserem Zimmer zur Arbeit um 07.00h reisten die ersten Gäste ab was natürlich auf Grund der Lage von Zimmer 2 auch vor unseren Fenster nicht ohne Lärm von statten ging ab 08.00h Frühstücksbetrieb. Bitte bei der Buchung beachten und Zimmer 2 auf keinen Fall buchen es sei den man ist Frühaufsteher und ist kleiner als 185cm und hat nur leichtes Gepäck dabei. Zimmer waren sehr Sauber der Garten gepflegt der Reinigungsschlauch lag zwar 3 Tage im Pool. Das Personal freundlich aber wir würden dort nicht noch einmal buchen da das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht stimmt. Nochmal nie Zimmer 2 sich andrehen lassen !

Estadia fantástica em Franshhoek
Nos hospedamos na guest house por um final de semana e a estadia foi fantástica. A propriedade está localizada em um ponto excelente no centro da cidade muito próximo dos melhores restaurantes do local, do wine tram (de onde parte um tour pelas vinícolas de Franshhoek), do centro comercial e das galerias de arte. O café da manhã foi excelente e todas as vezes que chegávamos a tarde, Shandré (a gerente) nos recebia com um delicioso cappuccino ! A propriedade é linda, muito mais bonita que nas fotos do site.
