I have mixed feelings about this stay. The apartment complex is beautiful (and big) with exceptional security. When the reservation at a previous hotel fell through due to flooding of our room, they were able to take us for an additional night with just 30 minutes notice. However, they will call you bright and early the next morning to come and pay the bill. I have not stayed at many places that will require a person to pay before the end of the stay (this was okay though, as we were foreign guests). Be aware to use Uber when traveling and not the taxis or the hotel arranged car services. They will charge way too much. There is a mall with lots of restaurants nearby, also restaurants near Convention Center so you don't need to venture far to eat (if you don't want to). Most of the staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful. I did not find the manager especially friendly (don't have his name, but you'll probably pick him out). Breakfast each morning was great and the workers in there are just delightful. If you ask to check out later, be sure to know that if you leave your room, you'll be locked out as the key card will still expire at the original check out time. Would have been nice to have been told this at the time we requested the later check out time. I would recommend staying for the location (Century City) and safety.
