Quite a nice small hotel but needs updating especially bathrooms and no air in all areas. We had issues with shower, lighting and reported this but nothing was done to ammend this during our 4 day stay. There is only someone available on the reception desk who was helpful and friendly but only for limited hours which is not good especially when there are issues. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss with quality and service. Hotel is up on a height so quite a lot of uphill walking.

Dear customer, thank you for your comments which allow us to improve.The management changed this summer and the hotel will be completely renovated this winter (rooms, bathrooms, equipment, bedding) the breakfasts have already evolved since your stay and are now a great success.Located in a private cul-de-sac, a little higher up, the hotel is very central (500m walk from the old market and 700m from the Plais des Festivals) and ensures our customers quiet nights in the center of Cannes.Our private parking also allows you to park your vehicle easilyWe will always be delighted to see you again!

Love this little gem
this is a really nice little hotel that we would stay at again and again. the manager Marie is fantastic and so attentive to making our stay memorable. We met the new owner who invited us to return next year and see how much better the hotel will be then. Hope we can make that happen!

Clean, friendly, and lovely area!
Clean and lovely hotel! Friendly staff and clean rooms. Comfortable bed. WiFi was good. The shower did not have a door and was open to the bathroom so water would go everywhere, slight annoyance. Steep walk to/from the train station and town, but I enjoyed it!

Great experience for 2 nights - go for it!
I am used to the best five stars hotels of the world. For various reasons I opted randomly for this little hotel in Cannes for a two night - stay in Canne with my 2 sons and my husband. It was just lovely! Dominique, the manager (or owner) made our stay a memorable one. Discrete and efficient. Attentive and an excellent advisor. Great knowledge of the places to go for a walk, or for dining. Not sure we will go back to a hotel in Cannes since we are now a property owner in the area since yesterday. But for sure we will recommend the place to jet setters wanting to experience something different/common. Do not forget though to ask the towels to be changed if you want to.

The hotel staff were lovely. I felt at home, and was very comfortable in my room. I loved the style of decor. I loved the enormous hand basin, and the toiletries. The hotel car parking is modest, but in Cannes one is very lucky to get any parking! Staff were friendly and helpful. My stay was very happy.

Cannes-not do better than this hotel!
Great boutique hotel with very clean, nicely decorated rooms and communal areas. Evelyn and the other staff are genuinely warm-hearted people - very welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure their guests have a great stay; for example providing parasols if you are going to the beach. 'Modern' essentials such as air conditioning, internet and parking are absolutely fine. The hotel is situated about a ten minute walk to the centre of Cannes, which means it's in a quiet area, but because it is up a hill, may not be ideal for those with mobility issues. Would recommend to stay here and would return if we were going back to Cannes.

Nice and very accommodating hotel for vocation
Very accommodating and friendly owners. Convinient and cosy garden to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. It possible to seat and eat in the garden with your own foods and drinks. Hotel stands approximately 500 meters from sea, beaches and restaurants. Way from sea to the hotel going up and coast you some calories. There are also forest park and islands to wandering. Overall the great place. I would recommend.

I can organize this for you, taxi for exemple with discount price . It's true than it's easy to move in the corner with very cheap train and local bus. I can explain all to my guests for a nice stay. A great little hotel, with very friendly owners and a lovely shaded terrace for breakfast. Only a five minute walk from the Old Port and ten minutes to the beach.

The best thing about this small hotel was the welcome. Very pleasant lady, fluent English speaker. Check in is late, but they will put your bags in your room if you arrive early. There is limited parking on site, so be aware. Our room was small and basic, though contained a TV, fridge and wifi. This is an adequate hotel for a short stay. 10-15 minute walk to beach/town/station.

The hotel is quite comfortable and priced accordingly. Nice place, quiet and conveniently located. Staff was great and really helpful. Rooms are a bit small and parking space limited. Overall experience nevertheless superb.

Very pleasant hotel in a lovely, traditional building. Recently refurbished to a high standard, but has a homely, chic feel. The hosts are very friendly and speak excellent English. The continental breakfast is superb. Just a 10 min walk uphill from the centre and very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Cannes. The free parking makes the hotel even better value as parking in Cannes can be expensive.

This is how all B&B's should be
Evelyne & her husband know what they are doing, they are amazingly friendly but efficient at the same time. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they make the stay all the better. I was in room 204, very spacious for France, 2 windows, 1 with sea view. Tastefully decorated. The bed is a bit short & hard and next doors plumbing is a bit loud. The bathroom has only a hand held shower in the bath, but none of this was a problem for us, but it could bother others. The location is 10-15 mins up a steep hill & there is no lift, so if you are infirm, then this isn't the place for you, however we loved it.

How it should be done ..... everywhere
The hotel is located a short distance (10min stroll downhill, 15 min uphill) from one of the main restaurant areas in Cannes and is slightly off the adjacent street meaning there is little noise at night. There is parking for around 8 cars. The building is efficently and well looked after by the husband and wife team and they are a delight to guests giving assistance for places to visit and go to eat. The hotel has no dining restaurant (there are many places to eat nearby within staggering distance if you dont drink and drive). Breakfast is served on a secluded terrace which somehow just feels like you are on holiday. There is also a sitting area and books to read if so inclined. Given that this hotel/B&B is in one of the most expensive places in Europe to stay you should have no complaints about the facilites provided. Evelyne is a delight. Mwah!

It was not clear to us that this is a very old hotel, with lofty rooms on the ground and first floor, so that the climb up the marble staircase to the second floor was unsustainable for older people like my wife and myself. We were told that we could move to the lower floor the following day, but that would not overcome the other disadvantages including: - Location: Cramped car park; busy main road 25 yards away; long very steep climb down to the harbour Room offered for first night: Very small; the trouser rails were broken from every coathanger; empty mini-fridge that was not plugged in; no drinking water, bath but no shower; poor air-conditioner; everything in the room was as tired as we were. We moved on next day. The owner was hostile about our early departure.

We stayed 5 days at Albert Premier and had a fantastic time. Our hosts we charming. Our room was spacious with a balcony and a view of the bay. We walked to la croissette (corniche) everyday, (got our exercise)and dined in the old market la suquet which are both 10 min walking distance away! Reserve early as we did, you will love this charming Villa.

Abbiamo passato una piacevole vacanza a Cannes soggiornando in questo hotel . La struttura si presenta ben curata , restaurata da poco , tutti gli spazi sono molto ben tenuti. Le camere sono belle , luminose , gli arredi nuovi e con bagno in camera molto ampio e molto ben tenuto e di recente ristrutturazione . Noi avevamo scelto la stanza con il letto matrimoniale di misura normale , molto più comodo L’hotel dispone di un parcheggio riservato agli ospiti , e data la difficoltà a parcheggiare a Cannes e’ sicuramente cosa di non poco conto. L’auto si può tranquillamente lasciarla parcheggiata in hotel e muoversi a piedi verso centro e spiaggia ( circa 15 minuti a piedi ) oppure prendere l’autobus numero 2 Infine il personale e’ stato molto cordiale e professionale , sempre gentili e disponibili
