Just what I needed ... a quiet, comfortable room. Breakfast was not so pleasant .. room way too small and crowded, toaster not fully working so a queue (significant in a small room)

Friendly staff. Free breakfast was fine. Would be nice of they encouraged people to be more respectful on noise as floors/walls are very thin and it's very noisy when someone is stomping around at 11:30 p.m., having a shower at 2 a.m., or decides to turn on the TV loudly early in the morning.

It smelled pretty bad as if someone had been smoking in it.... not enough large towels, there where 3 of us and only 2 towels. There were only thin blankets on the bed, we froze. The staff were kind though,

We go to this hotel often, but this time we had a bad experience. Our booking was missed, so our family of 5 had to spend one night in separate rooms without the facilities we needed and then had to wait until mid-afternoon for the room that we booked to become available. The kitchen supplies were minimal, not up to previous standards. Overall an unpleasant experience.

Checked into room. TV was on and there were other people's belongings all over. Staff moved us to the emergency handicap room. Super loud people upstairs and barking dogs in the nearby rooms. Great staff, but we feel so poorly treated as guests. We will find other accommodations next time.

This was our second day at the Port Augustus Inn. To be honest last time we were not that impressed, but this time they blew us away. The room was super clean and felt like it was freshly painted. The bed was comfortable and the staff at the front desk was amazing, we arrived very late and they were still cheerful and welcoming Bravo,

In a nutshell: it’s an OLD-school MOTEL. Though they have the amenities of minfridge, micro, coffee pot …and updated sink and fixtures, that is ALL that makes this place ‘ok’ to stay at. The BED is hard though bedding is fine. Very dirty dusty carpet…don’t look behind the bed. This is not one of those places you “get what you paid for”…we were there in February and it was pricey.

There were some issues with noise in our room from guests above, but it was eventually resolved after several attempts. Some rooms need updating, which it looks like is happening. Continental breakfast was good. It is okay for a 3 star motel, close to everything in the comox valley. Would stay there again, but would insist on a top floor.

Stayed for family day long weekend. Sushi restaurant in the property was good. Closed to Washington, spacious room for family of 4. We needed somewhere to sleep so the motel was perfect for us.

The place on the exterior was very run down and interior was very dated. It was very disappointing for the price point. This motel should be in the $75-$80 range. I wont go back for $135 (tax incl). Also, i had a late flight into Comox arriving to the motel at 2am - and was woken up starting at 7:30am with very loud banging. They were repairing the roof. We were out of there by 9am because of the noise level. This was not a good value motel. The only two positives was that the staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was not too bad all considering.

The hotel offered a free breakfast which was kind. Unfortunately the room was small, the smell of floral air freshner was overpowering, there was garbage and animal kibble under the tv stand, the carpet was not well vacuumed, the temperature control did not work well, and there were red stains on the bed throw ( looked like blood to me). For the price of $111.00 i did not expect much, so i got what i paid for i suppose.
