“Made right choice”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Eddie the manager was great, he made himself available whenever you had a question or needed recommendations on where to go while on our vacation The facility is very family friendly and clean. There are beach front restaurants within walking distance. The sunrise view from our room was like a picture from a postcard. If we plan another trip to Cairns we would definately stay here again.

“Wonderful”

The Roydon fulfilled every hope I had had about a beachfront condo (that's what the US calls them)- "serviced apartment" didn't sound all that wonderful to me but it truly was. We slept every night listening to the gentle waves against the shore. Our living room was very spacious and opened to the balcolny where we could sit and watch the people and the boats and the ocean. It couldn't have been more wonderful and the Managers were fantastic too. Trinity Beach is a place I would highly recommend - clean, spacious, well equiped, good places to eat, close to other attractions.

“Excellent Value”

For those looking for a quiet vacation setting with the beach front almost at your front door, this would be your place to stay. We had a 2bdr beachfront on the 3rd floor....absolutely beautiful apt. very nice furnishings. gleaming white tile floors, new bathrooms etc. nothing second rate in the whole place....and the best bargain for the money i could find. the best feature would be the staff (Eddie). a warm welcome, anything you need, very accomodating. we used the hotel's recommended shuttle (fee). they were waiting on us when we arrived, took us straight there. use the full kitchen unless you got money to burn. prices were outrageous compared to US, but do try the blue moon grille (one block walk). peaceful at night with the surf crashing in your front yard. if you want the bustle of the city, wrong place. if you want a top notch quiet vacation spot.......this would be your place.

Wonderful holiday, relaxing environment, friendly, helpful and accomodating hosts, amazing beach views, excellent restaurants within walking distance, bus stop around the corner and supermarket and convenience stores a pleasurable walk. Thoroughly enjoyed our reef tours, Cape Trib tour and the fishing charter thanks to Eddie's assistance.

“Fantastic!”

On arrival we met by Julie and Eddie, who we found to be warm and friendly and very helpful. The accommodation was outstanding, spacious clean with everything needed to make our stay so wonderful. I wish we could have stayed longer. During our stay Julie and Eddie were able to arrange excursions and transfers for us - I ilked the fact that they did not try to 'force sell' us anything- they were just happy to assist with our needs. Trinity beach is a wonderful place to unwind and chill-out I'm glad that we did it at the end of our trip - The hotel was the icing on the cake that made our Australian adventure so special .i look forward to going back again one day!

“Should have stayed longer at Trinity Beach”

My husband, teenage daughter and I stayed at the Roydon Beachfront Apartments in Trinity Beach in mid-August 2010 after staying 5 days in Sydney and 4 days in Brisbane. We wish we would have spent less time in Brisbane and stayed longer at Trinity Beach. We arrived late, after 9 pm, at Cairns Airport and was greeted by a very polite driver arranged by the Roydon who took us straight to our beachfront apartment. Our 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment was spacious, with large balcony, granite countertops in the kitchen and baths. The unit was super clean with modern appliances, washer/dryer, and all the kitchenware and supplies you need. They also have a nice-size pool. The property manager, Eddie, arranged for all our transportation and tours, with no add-on fees. If you need anything, the friendly staff is more than happy to help and give advice. We went snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef and took the train and skyrail tour to/from Kuranda and rainforest - both tours conveniently arranged by Eddie. If we had more time, we would have hung out and spent more time enjoying the beach. The Roydon is a great value with an awesome beachfront location. We sure hope to return soon!

“Great find”

This was a great find, the location is outside of the crowds in Cairns in a little beach front community but still close enough to enjoy the things to do in the area. The apartment was big and well maintained and a great view of the beach.

“paradise”

This apartment was huge, clean and perfectly located for relaxing. The view was stunning. There are lots of choices for dining out or everything you need to prepare your own meals. All the tours have pickup either at the apartment entrance or at the local bus stop which is just next door. Eddie was extremely friendly and very helpful in arranging any of the tours in which I was interested. I can't say enough about how enjoyable it was to wake up each morning to the sun rising over the ocean between the two coconut trees.

“Most relaxing stay”

This was our first visit to Australia and the Great Barrier Reef area. Decided to stay in Cairns and chose this apartment hotel. In every case the hotel exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the fact that this was not a large facility. Staff was great to deal with and a great source of information. We would have stayed longer if we had not pre-booked our flight back to Sydney. We had a garden view apartment that also had a view of the ocean. It was the best of both worlds. We would stay again if we are ever in the area.
