“Wonderful resort setting”

An excellent resort with a tropical setting. Two pools one next to a bar and busy The other quieter, never more than three other people in the pool! An excellent jump off point to the barrier reef and the rain forest. Walks from the hotel led to the botanical gardens. We even had our ow pair of sun birds that came to visit us. I found it a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

The resort was really good. Great setup, felt like a resort and not a concrete jungle. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is also not that far from the city and airport.(by car). The rooms were good and clean. Excellent swimming pool with spa.

“BUDGET BEAUTY....”

Had a great time for 5 nites at the Ibis Colonial Club. Really impressed considering it was a 'budget' stay. Beautiful lush gardens, 3 pools - 2 resort size with an awesome 'grotto' spa behind the waterfall at the colonial pool. Room was fine but would stay farther from the front entrance next time due to noise from late arrivals. Food was yum and reasonably priced. Happy hour cocktails watching the sunset by the pool - lovely! Most activity providers will collect you from the hotel or use the shuttle bus to go into town. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I'll definitely be returning.

great staff right from the check inn and organising tours , good selection for breakfast and not to far from town the shuttle bus made that easy
