We had a 3 nite stay at this hotel. It was in a great area to walk to nearby sites of interest. The morning breakfasts were really good, with an abundance of pastries and hot items. But there is no other place in this hotel to buy or get food for the rest of the day. There is a bar where you can buy a cup of coffee after 1030 am. That’s it. No food to go with your drinks in the evenings. I think they are really missing out on that revenue aspect.

Fab hotel, clean and comfortable. Although the rooms are small they maximise the space really well, with everything needed for a four night stay. Can buy tea and coffee at bar and take up to room. Shower area spacious and decent shower plenty hot water. All staff helpfull and friendly Basic breakfast and lovely fresh brown bread. Only caveat is that the cereal bowls all seemed to be chipped around the brim which is unhygienic: please get more bowls!!

D8 was the perfect hotel for 3 nights in Budapest. It’s in a great location, close to the Danube and right at the start of the main pedestrian street. Everything is you might need is steps away: - Shopping - Pharmacies - mini market - Hop on stop - nice restaurants The hotel has a fine breakfast with lots of choices and a well stocked bar for a drink later on. It’s not super fancy but is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

No parking, very small room but clean. We couldn’t get wifi access. Power outage in the middle of the night. So so breakfast , coffee machines were not working. Staff tried to fix it but unsuccessful.

Excellent hotel, very good value, central to Oest fir shopping, restaurants, walkable to all places of interest but metro is 1 minute away and very cheap. Friendly staff and lots of breakfast options. Highly recommend

Great location and very friendly staff. Showers did leak quite a bit and the wifi was very weak. Overall great hotel to visit Budapest but does have some facility shortfalls.

Property was in an excellent position in the city, easy and walkable to all the major sights. Hotel staff were lovely and friendly, room was perfect and very clean. Could be made better with tea and coffee making facilities in the room but other than that everything was perfect.

The D8 Hotel is very well located in Budapest - easy access to restaurants and shops as well as being close to the river and transport links The staff are very friendly and helpful and gave us a very warm welcome The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and apart from thoughtless guess slamming doors the hotel is also very quiet The breakfast is varied although the dining area becomes busy during peak periods I would happily recommend the hotel to other visitors looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Budapest

The position of the hotel in the center of Budapest walking distance of most sights, and underground to get about. Shopping near and all sorts of dining establishments. I will certainly stay in D8 again.

Lovely hotel. Not flashy and pretty basic but is very clean, well presented and is a cool place to stay. The best part about this hotel is the location. It’s literally in the middle of everything. The staff in the hotel were brilliant, very helpful and hospitable. I would definitely look to stay here again when I travel back to Budapest.

Very good stay for 3 nights two friends in a twin room. Very clean and nicely decorated, wonderful location very central to everything we walked everywhere! The bus from the airport is also close by. Breakfast was good with a decent amount of choice. Would recommend this hotel.

Located in a pedestrian only section of the street, literally a less than 5 minute walk from the chain bridge. and right at the start of the main shopping street. Breakfast is included. Nothing seemed to be much trouble.

This is a great property, close to the Danube, public transit, shopping, restaurants, etc. Within walking distance to most of the major tourist/historical sites. The room was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again.

Definitely would stay again. Loved the patio map wall.Small rooms. I booked twin beds, but worth the excellent service. The breakfast was delicious and had all options, would suggest opening the self serve coffee machine at 4:00 am for early departure. The trip to airport is far and rooms don’t have hot pot.

We loved the breakfast, staff were very friendly, the bartender was so friendly and have us hot water for tea, they called us our taxi etc. the mini croissants are the best, along with the cereal and yogurt bar. Location was very convenient, right next to the river and bridge. We would of given a five star review but wifi in our room was non existent, we got one bar if we were lucky.

It was very strange that the room was very small and it did not have a table and a chair to sit and use my laptop. It was also unique that I had to use the key-card for using the elevator and the lights. They had no business center to check-in a day before my departure and print the boarding pass. I am vegan and reserved the room with breakfast, but they had no vegan options.
