The room was lovely but we had multiple issues including a low battery fire alarm going off all of our first night, no bar open after 10pm even though it’s still advertised as 24 hour and worst of all getting charged again for the stay despite paying with Expedia and explaining all of this to the hotel

This is such a unique place to stay. It feels like you are staying in an old palace. A little careworn but charming and artistic decor. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and quiet, each uniquely designed and decorated, and the location is excellent. The staff were so helpful and friendly. And the breakfast which is included is substantial and delicious. Would stay here again. Only factor to consider is that there are quite a lot of stairs to the rooms on the top floor.

Good option in (Buda)Pest.
The hotel is funkily decorated, and the location is convenient. Elderly folks should be forewarned that it takes almost 90 steps to climb to the reception desk (no elevator). The service was friendly and good.

Exceptional Eclectic Boutique Hotel!
We were amazed at what a great experience we had at the Brody House in Budapest. The location was off the hectic river area and near some excellent restaurants within an easy stroll. Very close to a train stop. The staff is exceptional and the room we stayed in was unique and extremely comfortable. We will highly recommend to our traveling friends. Saw the original high recommendation in THE ROUGH GUIDE travel book for Budapest. So glad we got a room!

Great Stay
Really good experience at the Brody House. Stayed in the Photo Room - large room with HUGE bathroom and best shower! The room, staff and surroundings more than make up for the stairs — would definitely recommend this place.

Quirky boutique hotel
This hotel is incredible - quirky, creative, intelligent! An absolute gem. Don't tell anyone else about it! My only wish is that there should be blackout blinds in the room (Yeresko's room).

Superb boutique hotel in the heart of Budapest n
Beautiful quite boutique hotel with beautiful and interesting rooms. Ideally located for all the sights and next door to the National Gallery. Easy to walk into the fascinating Jewish quarter with its bars and restaurants. The Brody hose is a very cool place.

We had a great stay at Brody House. Cool place, without the formality of a typical hotel. The room was great and surprisingly warm considering the size of it, and being an old building! The staff were great too, v helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful game in the heart of the city!
We LOVED our stay here at Brody House! The house is so cool, and each room has its own personality. The staff was so friendly and helpful: Zsanett, Barbara and Hanka were wonderful. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay to experience the different vibes. The breakfast was wonderful as well, and the various sittings rooms with the 24 hour honesty bar was so cool. We were able to sit and work and enjoy the hotel while having drinks at the honesty bar. The location was perfect as well, everything was in walking distance! I actually regret changing hotels, as I would have gladly stayed all 4 nights there! Highly recommend, and will definitely stay again if I go back to Budapest!

Beautiful treasure in perfect location!
This hotel was wonderful! The ladies who work there were so friendly and welcoming. The location is wonderful, the breakfast is great and I love how each room has its own personality and vibe. We stayed in Julia's Studio and the Photo Room and both were wonderful. I actually regret checking out and moving to another hotel, ha. Would have gladly stayed there longer if I could have! Highly recommend this place!

Great Location, very quirky
Fantastic place to stay, the suites are very quirky with a shabby chic style. Great breakfast in an ideal location . Building has tons of character and is located close to the metro, bus and tram stops. Would recommend it to anyone unless you are not super mobile as there are stairs to the lounge/breakfast and open stair treads in our room. We had a fully fitted kitchen in our suite and a massive bed. Will return.

Quirky, fabulous boutique hotel
Bródy house is fabulously positioned near the nation museum. It is currently eclectically decorated and furnished. The staff delightful and friendly with excellent English. The honestea bar genius. You won’t regret it

Beautiful hotel
Brody House is a great place to stay. Unless you don’t want stairs. We were in the Droga room, which meant going down 2 small flights of stairs and then up 2 main stairs to get to reception and breakfast/ drink facilities. Best to ask for a room on same level as reception. Staff couldn’t of been more helpful. Visited Brody Studios which although not close is worth the visit. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay at Brody House.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Great atmosphere. I could have my coffee in the great room while I waited for my wife to finish getting ready each morning. No tv's in the hotel. I liked this. And kept up with the real world with my phone. Service there is great.

The two floors of stairs are worth it! Wonderful quiet but central location, friendly and helpful staff, and great breakfast available if you want it. Think of the stairs as a start to working off all the Hungarian calories from the day.

A Gem!
The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the photo room and loved the decor. The room was very spacious. The hotel was in an excellent location and everything was within walking distance or close to transportation. The only drawback is that there is no elevator and we had very heavy suitcases. There are 87 stairs to climb so it is a long climb. Having said this, the young women on the desk were very willing to help with our suitcases. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room and the public areas are really like in a deeam everything is very clean top design. The staff is really kind and gives a bery good service. The lack of elevator and a round the clock reception or at least till midnight are the only things that are really missing. Otherwise it would be a real ten

Great hotel. The only minor comments are I'd have liked some conditioner for the hair in the bathroom. Also a TV in the room would be great for watching BBC news.

Very nice boutique hotel
Very nice boutique hotel walking distance to old Budapest. Near market, metro and buses and many beautiful landmarks. Staff very helpful, friendly and welcoming! Breakfast available. Great selection of regional cheeses, bread & salami. Would definitely stay again.
