Filthy an unsafe
Travelling alone, the desk announced to a lobby of men my room number. I went up and locked the door. The room faced a city street on a third floor balcony missing curtains and with a shared balcony that did not lock (latch was in pieces on the floor). Heat was provided by a space heater which had a broken base, constituting a fire hazard. When I turned it off, I burned my fingers. The "non smoking" room stank of cigarettes and the blue fluid from portable toilets. I asked to be moved to a safer room, but was told nothing was available. As the neighbourhood was so rough, I elected to barricade myself in the room until morning. I elected to walk away from the other two days I had prepaid, but with my life.

Bed was nice room was pretty small.location was decent close to train tation but walls are thin. And seems like people just dont sleep and talk loud at night on the streets.

Bathroom left a lot to be desired, Shower mouldy and manky curtain stuck together with mould! Toilet had no flusher, had to work out you needed to fiddle with a tiny button inside the mechanics of it to flush!

Horrible place
I had an awful experience in this hotel. First of all because the location is not that great. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. By the way I even left one day earlier because I could not take it anymore.

You get what you pay for
As I was looking for a cheap staying I could say the hotel did it's job. The cleanliness of the room as well as the public areas was "all right", despite the bathroom of the room had a bad smell coming from it (don't really know if it was coming from the toilet and its pipes or if it was only bad cleaning). But, as I meant in the beginning, you get what you pay for so I cannot really complain about it.

The room smelled, hair in the shower upon arrival, was never cleaned during our stay, no toilet paper, and the view from window was an elevator shaft

Great location
The hotel is obviously under construction - front lobby looks great, hopefully the rooms will be improved to the same level. Very centrally located, 10 min walk from Midi train station and right in the midst of local businesses. The noise level from the streets was definitely noticeable, but easy to sleep through. Our only problem was the Wifi service - it only worked sporadically which seemed like a bad idea for a business lodge. My boyfriend works online and had been hoping to get quite a few assignments done during our two day stay but everything took 2x as long to complete.

Nice sized room, semi-modern hotel
Hotel check-in was brief and did not point out hotel amenities, or offer support for travel plans and accomodations. While the room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was significantly lacking in space.

Do not stay at this hotel, you will regret it.
Do not stay at this hotel! I know it's cheap, but you will regret it. Everything so dirty and smelly you would rather sleep on the train station. No, really, there is MOULD on the walls. And to get over that smell you have to leave windows open for the night. Furniture and carpet full of stains, holes and paint drops. Bathroom (where all the smell comes from) also had mould on shower curtain.... grosser than public restroom.

Ok stay for a quick stop over
Prices for a hotel in Brussels are expensive so this was a cheap stay in comparison to many. The room was a decent size for 1 person and the shower room was in good working order. The TV didn't work and I couldn't get the lights to switch on but overall a half decent stay...I was only there for 1 night so could put up with its flaws!

not as bad as i was expecting
if you are only spending a few nights in Brussels, which I don't see any reason to spend more than, it is quite nice. I read horrible reviews so I was expecting really bad conditions. When my friend and I first arrived we got an alert from Expedia saying check in time is at 11. The man at front desk was quite rude in telling us not until 2. Another guy at front desk was there when we got back at 2 and was super nice. Very helpful as well.

Do not stay here
Currently under renovations so it was a wreck. Room was an ok size. Bathroom was tiny and stunk. Wifi service was terrible. We did not sleep because this hotel is on a Main Street and there was yelling all night long....it stopped around 4:30 am. I am not a person who regularly gives bad reviews. This hotel is. It recommended. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

We were greeted by broken windows in a sketchy neighbourhood. Room was also dirty. While very close to major tourist attractions, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Bathroom and room are very small and not very confortable and room rate is not worth the quality. Although hotel is located in Boulevard lemonnier close to all amenities. I definitely do not recommend it.

Would recomend as business hotel.
1. Rooms are really small and miniaturised, 2. Location is good as in centre of city, 3. There is no a/c in room and on a hot day it could be furnace, 4. It is bang on main road with too much traffic noise through the night

Hotel at hostel costs
A little difficult to locate as there is no sign outside with the name. Once you find the hotel you have to be buzzed in which is comforting to know that no one can just come and go. Hotel staff was nice. Hotel has a lift which was amazing with your heavy luggage. Noisy neighbourhood but for the price, I can't complain!

The room was not clean, the service was even worse. I went out and came back at about 4:00 am; the receptionist was not there and I was locked out pressing the buzzer for about 45 minutes. Then he came back from wherever he was, claiming that he was in toilet. Unless he was sleeping in the toilet, his explanation was obvious untrue to me.

The hotel seems to have been renovated recently but it is located in a terrible area. Two of us guys were staying for the night and we felt slightly uncomfortable about walking back at night. There isn't even a sign with the hotel name on it which added to the discomfort about the whole situation. The room itself was fine but I would suggest staying somewhere closer to the city center.

OK but dont get a room facing the main street
So i was travelling to belgium for the F1 race in Spa. Got to my hotel a little late and found the street that the hotel was on full of young arab men being very loud and fighting with each other. Carrying my laptop and camera I wondered whether i was safe. But i got to the hotel fine, however I have to put up with these loud idiots until 2-3am EVERY night. Screaming and yelling all sorts of stuff. They were very very annoying as the hung around every corner and often small fights between them broke out. I suggest you get a room not on the street directly. While I was there they updated the Wi-Fi system which was great!

We stayed with friends for two nights.The staff were very friendly and helpful , but the hotel itself needed some work. Lights not working, etc. The price was extremely reasonable but the neighborhood was extremely noisy. For the second night we went out an bought earplugs which helped drown out the singing and loud conversations outside the window all night.A fan in the rooms would be of great help as then you could shut the window to keep the noise level down.great location other than that as we could walk everywhere.

Our room was dirty and smelt strongly of mildew. We asked for a new room and we were moved to a slightly cleaner room. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, however the hotel facilities were shocking.

Quite simply the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, no Wifi past the 2nd floor!!, Youths slamming doors until 2am, no restaurant, no facilities whatsoever. My room stank, the drains were foul. Never ever go here it is awful.

Ok if you're only looking for a place to bathe and sleep. No internet, breakfast or even a vending machine. Has no sign outside so good luck trying to find it if you've never been in Brussels before. Room clean and comfortable.

Zimmer war dunkel (kein richtiges Fenster und hat unangenehm gerochen. Teppich war sehr dreckig, Möbel stark abgenutzt. Umgebung sehr laut. Insgesamt sehr ungemütlich und nicht zu empfehlen, nicht mal mir für eine Nacht.

Hôtel en "rénovation" mais qui dure, qui dure! Beaucoup de choses qui ne fonctionne pas ! trop cher pour le quartier et l'état des chambres: fils du radiateur qui pendent, tel des années 70 qui ne sert a rien, clefs magnétique qui fonctionnent 1 fois sur 2,quartier bruyant(Maghreb Pakistan), etc.

Decent, but not worth the price.
The room was pretty messy. Old stains on the carpet, the radiator attached from the wall and leaning on the floor. Dusty and dirty curtains. The bathroom-sink smelled like a sewer. The lights at the floor of my room didn't work, so getting from my room to the elevator at after sundown was a bit of a challenge. It was the cheapest hotel I could get, but for just under 100 euros, I would expect a bit more. Although it is just a two-star hotel On the good side. Friendly staff, bed was decent. It is very centrally located, although in a bit of a shabby street, but I never felt unsafe. But I would keep an extra watch on my belongings if walking late at night.

hotel en travaux et peut être en devenir mais on a du mal a croire car il s'y prennent tres mal et ce n'est pas la peinture qui résoudra les odeurs d'égouts dans les douches; les fenêtres qui ne s'ouvrent pas (pas de clim ') quand on a la chance d'en avoir une. .. quartier animé mais bruyant jusqu'à tôt le matin. .. donc a éviter il y a d'autres hôtels dans le même quartier : proche du centre et gare du sud...
