There should have been better communication from Expedia regarding booking in to Bayside. We drove around and around trying to find an entrance ending up going to Moonlight only to find out we had to go there to book in and pick up the keys.

The only problem was the tour's and transfers only dropped off and picked-up ap moonlight bay appartments. There should have been an offer of help to carry luggage when I arrived as I was just shown a map, my luggage was heavy and it was quite confusing finding my way to the apartment the first time.

Just over the road from an art gallery and Matsos restaurant, close to Roebuck Bay promenade and bus is literally over the road to get you to town beach or town centre. Units are comfortable and have all essentials; kitchen facility and equipment good. Complementary guest laundry. Parking off street and security gates around premises. Use of Mangrove Hotel pool which was lovely!!! Really well planned and really liked my stay.

More signage on the front fence at bayside to let travellers know to book in at moonlight bay. Once you are in the driveway you have to reverse onto a busy road

Nice older style appartments in good condition. Pleasant garden setting with a pool. A short walk to town or Matso brewery is across the road.

Tonnes of space, you have a full two bedroom house, it is very 1980s in its feel. Great location for Matsos and viewing the staircase to the moon.

we did not stay at bayside We were transferred to moonlight bay apartments. They are the under the same management . We would recommend them to anyone. There apartments are well placed for a stroll into the old Broom townsite and the bus runs past the property for longer trips.

Beautiful place except for reception staff
Everything was fantastic except for the check out. In previous email I was told I could have extended checkout as flight was late in day, but at check in was told they couldn’t allow it with only use of pool and shower facilities. The pool has no shade and too many stairs for me to get to pool. The particular staff member needs problem solving skills and sympathy. If I had know earlier I would of booked another night. Also reception is about a 300m walk to accomodation with luggage and in the heat. Not good! Apartment was perfect.

Hidden accommodation treasure
After checking in through the Moonlight Bay Suites we were able to access our accommodation through secure locked fencing to the apartment The apartment was very adequate for two people and could handle another person easily. All equipment was easily located, cleanliness paramount and in good condition. The capacity to cater for ourselves made the stay excellent All staff spoken with were "spot on", polite, helpful and efficient Price wise the apartment was excellent Matso's Brewery was immediately across the street and the Town Centre and all it's facilities a matter of minutes by car or probably 10 minutes walk (we didn't) If going to Broome and prefer to do your own thing, this is the place to go Bayside made for a fabulous stay

Lack of detailed instruction for Check in
It took me over 20min to find the check-in desk, which is located in Moonlight, some walking distance away. Although there is a sign on the gate asking you to walk across the street or call a number, it is hard for the guests who just arrived with a lot of luggage.

So helpful, great location, staff excellent down to calling us when we were late getting in fr soiree n waiting. Spacious apartment. NOTE check in at Moonlight suites you can use facilities there too.DO NOT get taxi to take u to Bayside. Best equipped guest room to use after check out. Def staying again

Very spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom house, less than 10 minutes drive to the centre, with cookery to make own meals.

The gate entering the pool area should be secured as we had random drunks walking in off the street and bathing in the pool and more privacy to the pool area from main street is needed.

Reception across the road.
Bayview Apartments are in same ownership as adjacent Moonlight Bay Suites with reception for both at Moonlight however no notice of this in advance from your site. Pool at Bayview is small with children unattended using it most of the time, however facilities at Moonlight are available and their pool was far better. Service was very good and friendly.

Affordable selection
Geographically the hotel is perfectly placed, very quiet and peaceful. Easy access to the Broome town tour bus with 2 bus stops very close, the beach was visible and surrounded by walking paths. The room was very safe and secure.

Right next door to Matzo's for dining. Easy walk to Town Beach and Info centre/Chinatown etc, pool, and facilities at more upmarket Moonlight Bay able to be used. Didn't like the rooster that crowed 35 times pre dawn - didn,t hear it next morninh- perhaps it got the chop. Much dust behind bed, and a few other minor things.

No reception to check in at Apartments and only a small well hidden sign to let you know so wasted 30 minutes trying to find how to check in. Phone call reception never mentioned checking in was at a different property! Plus other unsatisfactory stuff, glad it was only for the one night.
