I booked on Expedia and gave my credit card info. When I checked in I was asked for an ID, I provided my drivers license thinking they were going to verify I was the person on the credit card instead the clerk said he had to scan it, it was policy. I was not comfortable doing this, it was totally unnecessary. In my past experiences staying in a motel I’ve never been asked for proof of ID. Also, I wanted to pay cash so when I checked out in the morning I was told that my credit card was already charged, it was about 8:30am. I have never experienced this before either. The room was not satisfactory but I have to say that the 2 clerks working were very nice and accommodating.

Dear Guest,We would like apologize for the inconvinience, IDs are required for legal reasons, for customers saftey and it also eliminates frauds and scams. Establishment has its own policy which enhances the customers saftey. Regarding the charge on your card, we do allow the guest to pay cash but since we were sold out, your card had to be charged to confirm your stay,Also we charged your card only before couple hours of check-in, Just to confirm the stay of the guest. You do have an option where we can refund the money on your account and you pay cash or use your preferred method of payment, when you check in. We apologize for the complex transaction system, but this helps the establishment with the reservation confirmation and it fastens the check-in process as well.Thank You,Knightsinn Bridgeport/Frankenmuth.

The staff at the front dest are super accommodating and kind. Quiet resting spot close to restaurants and Frankenmuth also has a laundry on location.

This is my second time staying at the Knights Inn, and both times it has been the same gentleman at the desk, who is very professional and kind. I felt safe knowing, that since I was traveling alone the first time, he put me in a room that could be seen from the office.

Stopped for the night on our way up north was decent for the money actually was quiet surprised...although the heat was off and took several hours to warm up then wouldn't shut off.

Comfortable
Very nice small motel! Price appropriate and comfortable. Had all the amenities we needed for the weekend. Easy check in, easy check out. Conveniently located to many stores and food options. Very short 10 minute drive to Frankenmuth or Birch run for shopping. Very close to Saginaw aswell where we went for dinner one. Overall a very comfortable stay. Thank you

We had a fantastic time. Wasn't a large room, but had everything we need aside from a coffee maker but there is a great donut shop just down the road. Everything you need is right there within walking distance. Every worker was polite and very helpful. Will definitely be staying again.

We went to Walmart and bought bed topper foam pads because the beds are extra firm, we like soft. If you like firm beds that's the place to. Other then that our stay was great.

Friendly, courteous front desk staff. Room was large, very clean and comfortable. Convenient to Frankenmuth without paying a kings' ransom! I would definitely stay here again!

I can’t believe the reviews said good! This room smells of smoke and cannabis. We don’t dare sit on the chairs! They are stained and gross! The furniture is broken and all the surfaces look like they were cleaned with a dirty rag. The bed looks ok, and we are tired so we stayed! Yuk! gross! Next door is an abandoned building with broken windows! We got a flat tire in the parking lot. After telling them about the room smell and dirt, they showed us three other rooms so we could pick one. 1st one had a smell, second one quilt stains and a bit of a smell, finally the third, no smell! Clean bed! New floors! Newer leather furniture! So they gave us the worst 1st, tried to better it and left the best for last!

The room smelled of bleach when you walked in, so that was good. I felt that the bed was pretty good and clean. However, the bathroom and floors of the room were apparently unswept, the extra stuff in the room looked like they had been there for a really long time… like note pad, menus, pen, etc. the drapes were completely insufficient to keep the bright lights out of the room for comfortable sleep conditions. I didn’t expect much from this location, and got what I expected.

It was a reasonably priced place to sleep for a couple of nights. Close to Birch Run, Frankenmuth, and Saginaw/Bay City area without spending big money. My suggestion is to put in a taller toilet. The little toilet was the worst.
