I liked the wonderful breakfast and the friendliness of the desk staff especially at check in. There are much needed renovations but it is clean and neat. The floor in our second floor room looked like it was replaced but with a very poor outcome. The mattress upgrade is a great idea but it would be well to upgrade the pillows also.

Although there were some minor details that it appears are being addressed by the owner regarding repairs and maintenance overall the atmosphere, service and safety which are our top priorities were all satisfactory. Would like to mention Lois who serves the breakfast as a very kind individual who made us feel comfortable and clearly is making sure the dining area is clean and the food is well cooked.

Quick weekend get
I was pleasantly surprised with our stay after reading online reviews. We were in one of the renovated rooms. The bed was very comfortable and our room was clean. The bathroom was spacious. We would stay again.
