The property was set back from the road, to get to the car park you travel down a very pretty tree lined path. We arrived very late, but gained access as the reception is open with a member of staff. Check in was very fast. The rooms were clean and tidy and the beds very comfortable, we all slept well. The breakfast was served by very nice staff at our table, there was plenty to choose from. Overall I am very happy with the hotel, I felt safe with the measures in place to minimise the risk of covid 19. There were many places to sanitise your hands and clear notices on the floor about social distancing.

good palce for short or long stay
Even if i came late and ordered over internet the security man and a nice woman from the restaurant fixed it. Maybe the management should consider to let late bookings be printed out automatically to make it easier for these people who not are receptionists? Else the hotel is very good with a lot of parkingspace ,and it is suited for people who wants to relax or guys who comes from the autobahn like me. There is good eating and a bar ,and result-orientated staff. My recommodations

The hotel is conveniently located for travellers heading towardsthe UK by car. It is in a lovely building, and is dog friendly. Our room was spacious enough and sparkling clean. The bathroom and shower werw both clean and modern. (The shower was powerful and warm). The staff were a complete delight, really hospitable. There is a public pool nearby and a beautiful lake with a path the whole way around it for doggie walks. This hotel is a fantastic find. We'll be back.

Nice and refurbished rooms
I stopped here for one night whilst driving through Europe. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the rooms very comfortable and completely refurbished. Breakfast was really good too.

Pleasant Hotel with good parking
I booked a single room which although small was well equipped and more than adequate. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. There was a wide variety of choices for breakfast. The staff were friendly and spoke very good English. The only downside was that, in common with many German hotels I have stayed in, there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There was a bottle of mineral water, although it seemed that there was just the one regardless of the length of stay. The grounds are pleasant and well maintained. I would stay there again if in the area

I love this hotel. Always try to stay here when possible. Food and service are great and the rooms are currently being renovated so they look a little more modern (very 90s previously). The only issue this time was the renovation work starting too early in the morning.

Fab hotel till you enter your room
1st impression was wow what a beautiful hotel outside and inside However once you enter your rooms it feels like you've walked into a time warp. Rooms are really dated and old fashioned but the beds were the worst. We could feel the springs in the mattress and asked if they had any others or some foam toppers, they did not. I was given 2 extra quilts for us to put on top of the mattresses. 2 extremely uncomfortable nights, which the a staff mercer confirmed was a common complaint No tea or coffee making facilities and only liquid soap provided in the way of toiletries

Beautiful hotel but lacks 4* amenities
The hotel is beautiful with a relaxing feel and quality environment. The bedroom was spacious with a good size bathroom. However, the beds were not comfortable and there were facilities missing which we expect from a 4* hotel: no coffee/tea making facilities, in-room safe, mini-bar or a fridge and only one room key. The room description lists air-conditioning but there was none and the breakfast room was quite stuffy without it. The only English language TV channel was CNN and the wi-fi reception was really bad. I had to go down to reception to use Facebook. The computer station is just one Mac. The sound insulation in the room was poor so I was awoken every morning by people moving around and doors banging. The pool is a busy public pool next door but has a slide and diving platforms. It also offered a great Saturday night live music concert with BBQ. There is a cafe on the path down to the lake for coffees and light lunch. The breakfast buffet is very good with excellent Bircher muesli. I did not use the bar but it looked popular and offers Sky Sports with an adjacent garden terrace which was beautiful. There are 3 indoor tennis courts but no outdoor courts. The fitness room has only 3 machines and a golf putting practice. There is a lovely walk around the lake at the back. We stayed here to visit family in Bramsche and given the price to quality ratio would stay again and recommend this hotel to others but it does need some updating to full 4* amenities.

Disappointing hotel not 4 star standard
Reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. No information was provided regarding either the hotel facilities, which were minimal anyway,or the surrounding area. The room was not air conditioned nor was there tea/coffee facilities and WiFi was only obtainable irregularly. Breakfast choice was limited for both cereal and cooked and the evening dinner and wine was expensive.

Excellent - stayed 2 nights - only comments would be no air conditioning (30 degrees at time of stay) and we found beds hard - Osnabruck was about 10 miles away Otherwise food, service and standard were excellent

Off the motorway gem
A very beautiful and well maintained hotel with friendly and helpful staff made this a perfect stop over on the way to Hook of Holland. The restaurant served really good food in a pleasant and cosy atmosphere. Apart from the rain, we could not fault it in any way and will definitely stay again

Used hotel for a stop enroute back to Bremen, hotel staff were great and the room was very good. Breakfast was a typical continental offering but of a high quality. Will be going back for a weekend stay as next door is a huge swimming pool with various slides.

Great Stop Off When Travelling
This was our 3rd stop here in consecutive years when travelling back through Germany. Laid back, quiet & comfortable. Every time I wish I had been more laid back myself & decided to stay 2 nights instead of just the 1.
