Hotel is older, but very convenient. Beds were very comfortable and staff was excellent. Hotel is right off the exit, so that worked perfect for us.

I prepaid for two rooms weeks ago and after 8 hours driving the lady at the front desk argued with my wife about us only having one room and checked her into one room. I had to send the receipt to my wife in order for the lady to figure it out and check us into the second room. Both were under the same name. She tried to charge my wife for a more expensive second room when she tried to tell us we only had one.

The hotel staff were very kind and were there if you needed anything. However, the hotel definitely needs an upgrade when it comes to minor things. We had a pet friendly room (maybe this is why things were left undone?) and we noted that the drawers to the dresser wouldn't stay closed, the refrigerator was not cold, there were holes in the bathroom wall where the curtain rod use to hang, the carpet definitely needed replaced with missing patches. My youngest also pointed out that the photos about the headboard weren't at the same height. Obviously, that was not a deal breaker but for esthetics of the hotel, it may be noted to need work. The location of the hotel was not terrible but not within close walking distance to any restaurants.

As we were driving home from Galveston and had driven almost 500 miles, the motel was convenient and we had a very good night'sleep with a 500-drive ahead of us.

The toilet lid was dirty. I didnt complain, cleaned it myself. Bathroom floor had alot of dust and debris in corners. Cleaners only hitting the high spots obviously. Bed linens were clean otherwise i would have been asking for refund. Bed mattress was my biggest issue, it was hard as a rock. I need a softer mattress. They were very gracious and offered to let me change rooms but said all the mattresses were the same. They were correct. I just doubled up the comforter and slept on top of it.

Front desk ladies were wonderful, both at check in and check out. The whole hotel smells like chlorine from the pool. Then, the room and hallway smells slightly of marijuana. It’s slight but may bother some. The beds were firm. AC in room might not be powerful enough in the summer months.

The bed was comfortable and quiet. The free breakfast was adequate… not the best “free” breakfast and not the worst. A lot of restaurants near by so a lot of options after a long day on the road.

I have stayed here 5x now in the last 7mo, same type of room. This time however room 306 had issues with draining (sink) and the mini fridge would NOT get or stay cold. Overall good for the price, Breakfast is always good but the rooms need updates!!!!

Had a great weekend. Wonderful indoor pool and hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, juices and coffee. Great value !!
