Don’t turn up between 14.00 and 16.00!
Surprised to turn up after a 5 hour drive to discover the hotel reception locked at 15.10. The sign showed reception open from 6 until 22.00 … Otherwise, pretty much what you’d expect for the money - but a nice quiet location.

I have stayed here once or twice a year for the past six years. Every time a great welcome and all you need for an overnight stop. Lidl store just round the corner and great restaurants les than 10 minutes away.

Have stayed before...👍...this time...dirty, room smelled bad, bed light & bath heater didn't work, hot water took a LONG time, no coffee maker...needs some serious TLC!

I would recommend this hotel but the double bed was badly dipped in the middle preventing a good night's sleep. Fix that and it would be a good budget hotel.

Night in Bourges
I had a lovely stay in Bourges. Everyone was very welcoming at hotel Resto Novo. I had a fantastic omelette in the restaurant and wonderful service. The furnishings and bed were a little dated in my room but everything was very clean.

Very easy location to drive to and conveniently next to a supermarket. For the price I was expecting something much more basic but despite being compact the room was quite nice and clean. The person at the front desk was very friendly (called us to check that we were coming when we were late arriving) and spoke good English so we were able to get good information about tourist destinations in Bourges despite my abysmal French.

Great hotel with everything you would need!!! Definitely would recommend we stayed one night only after flying 14 hours so the blackout curtains were perfect!!

Friendly and professional service and a lovely clean, comfortable room (we requested a baby cot which was in good order and supplied with fresh sheets and a pillow); perfect for an overnight stop on the way to the South.

Good Comfy Hotel
It is a comfortable hotel .Nice room with a bath incorporating a shower .The restaurant is good value for money,and reasonable wine list prices.Breakfast is excellent value for money,and recommend it The staff are always friendly ,and always willing to help and assist if they can.My wife and I have stayed at the hotel on a few occasions.The Resto is a good hotel.that offers good value for money.

Decent hotel with restaurant.
Clean rooms, easy parking, pretty much everything is correct. If you need to be near your car ask for room on same side as parking lot. Safe neighbourhood though. The restaurant is 'so so' although not expensive.15€ for plat and entrée. If you want breakfast (8€) be sure to get there before 8:00 or so otherwise it's slim pickings. English spoken. Not far from autoroute (20 minutes).

Bourges stay
It was pretty good for one night stay. The person at the front desk was very courteous, pleasant, and helpful. The dinner and breakfst we got at the site was also very good.

I hope it had an elevator, but good hotel
This hotel is outside the city of Bourges, not too far from downtown. The hotel is in a nice area and has plenty of parking. The downside is that lobby closes at 10:00 so may not work for late arrivals. It has a security door after 10:00 and can open only with a code provided to guests. The other issue is that there is no elevator, so it was a little of a hassle to carry the luggage to the second floor. Wifi works great. Room was a little small but it was clean and comfortable and we had a good sleep. Breakfast was very good and worth the price. The front desk guy was nice and spoke good English, french and even Spanish and gave us good advice on what to see in Bourges. Overall it was a good stay and I would stay here again.

Great value for short stay
This is an inexpensive hotel which represents great value for a short stopover. We stayed overnight on our drive to the south of France. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very welcoming,helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, with adequate facilities. Kettle and hairdryer. Bath and shower were good-plenty of hot water and powerful shower head. The breakfast was good - plentiful supply of cereals, yoghurts, bread, pastries, fruit juices, ham, cheese, bacon and scrambled egg. Look forward to returning again.

A little gem
If you're travelling across France and need a stop over for the night, then this hotel will come as a pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting much but to my delight the rooms were modern and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the food was great. At this price I couldn't believe it. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Good rooms in convenient hotel
We stayed here with our two children (aged 11 and 9) on the way back from Spain (after a long journey). The check in was easy and the staff helpful and, although we had booked a family room we were very pleased to have two adjoining rooms which suited us brilliantly. The beds were comfy and the room clean and plenty big enough. The only disappointment was that they weren't serving food that evening (and it was quite tricky finding somewhere to eat as we're all veggies). We had the buffet breakfast in the morning which was good value for money and filled us up ready for our next journey. It wasn't the Ritz but for the money we paid it was an excellent place to stay. We'd return next time we're in France and happily stay again.
