The room was decent. Bed comfortable as well as the open up couch. The furniture was a bit worn but fine. Shower was nice… room clean on check in. Unfortunately we had very bad cleaning service. They actually did come in one day but only changed one garbage, left the others, didn’t take dirty dishes, left dirty towels on the floor but took ones I planned to reuse and didn’t replace them. Didn’t give us new toilet paper and I had to call and go to the front desk to ask and finally got some. We were there 5 nights. The restaurant has limited hours and was very poorly staffed with a limited menu. The free food was sad. I emptied our trash. Front doors don’t work right and they didn’t seem to care. Staff was nice.

The elevators in this hotel were my favorites, I am a plane guy and this is the first elevator that I know of that make you feel like you’re in an airplane, either taking off or landing haha very cool. Plus my girlfriend loved the interior design of the entire hotel. Hotel was always clean throughout my 5 days stay. Breakfast was great. Having 2 tv was perfect, I watched sports in the sitting room and my girlfriend watched her shows in the bed room, very cool and peaceful. We visited Boston from Jersey for the first time.

The 1st room we checked into, smelled absolutely AWFUL. It smelled of raw sewage, my guess is a leak or break in a vent pipe. The 2nd room we checked into was very warm, the thermostat, CLEARLY being broken was set to 60° and the room was STILL a sweat box. We couldn't close the bedroom door and when i examined it i found it busted up and coming apart. I have pictures if you want. The rooms are old and musty, the upkeep of them is half assed and poorly done. Fixtures missing off of walls, lights with the wrong wattage bulbs in them, wallpaper peeling, missing and coming apart at the seams. Clearly you have new ownership or management who don't have a clue. Good luck, we will never stay there again and make sure to tell all of our friends.

When I booked the property I did because of the indoor pool and was not informed in advance that the pool was under maintenance. I was very disappointed because my kids were looking forward to this trip. The staff was not good at explaining the parking lot fee, and when asked about the pool I was very surprised how they answered like nothing happen and not such a big deal.

Hotel was quiet. Atmosphere was very pleasant. Rooms spacious. Restaurant on property convenient. Rooms need greater detailed cleaning, for example, interior doors, carpets, shower walls. Living room furniture is dated and arm chairs are a bit grimmy.

We like the suites, which make the bedrooms quiet. Great breakfast. Facility could use some work. Fast response when we needed maintenance to fix our shower. Pool hasn't been open for a long time with no fixed eta for access

We are looking for a hotel with an indoor pool. We called the hotel and asked if the pool was working, they said yes. When we went to enjoy the pool it was closed. The shower was full of hair. The air conditioning didn't work. Horrible service.

Only one person behind the counter checking in people, Elevator going up smelled of marijuana, crackers on elevator floor,trash can overflowing outside of hotel. Room door was open when we got to it.couch in room had visible stains. Bathroom was nice and bedroom Was clean. I haven’t stayed here in 14 years, this hotel has taken a noticeable down turn since 2010.

We encountered some issues with the bathroom during our stay. The sink was tilted, causing water to spill onto the floor every time we used it, necessitating the use of towels to dry the area. Additionally, the soap dispenser was faulty!! it detached from the wall and was left hanging upon first use. Despite these inconveniences, our overall experience at the hotel was great !!

Upon arriving at the property, I was asked if a did a "last minute booking with a third party" to which I said yes, I booked an hour ago using Expedia. The staff behind the desk blamed me for last minute booking and then Expedia who "always gets it wrong" to inform me that the room type I requested wasn't available and that I could downgrade bedsize for the same price or cancel my reservation (I was already out of my way to stay here). I said this isn't right, it's on Embassy to ensure their inventory stays updated and if they can't do it on third party sites, they shouldn't. I asked if he'd waive the $15 parking fee in exchange to which he said management was strict and he can't. I rarely ever write reviews but NEVER have I seen customer service, let alone in the hospitality industry, so rude, to the point where he's raising his voice, threatening to cancel my reservation if I want to dispute getting downgraded versus keeping the same bedsize in what's considered an update. If you see this at a good price, I'd question it before booking. If you see it at a higher price than others, I'd consider others nearby. This was truly disappointing and the owner should monitor his staff more.

First room had a buildup of trash blocking the door and smelled inside. Staff quickly changed our room but second room was also only partially cleaned and had an odor to it. Staff was very friendly. We were too tired to ask for a 3rd room change.

The layout of the suites is excellent, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was adequate, towels were very good. Front desk was amazing, very helpful and friendly. Room was not particularly clean, and very, very shabby. Curtains were sun damaged and tattered, one lamp was broken, outlets hard to use.
