Old Anchor Cottage is situated adjacent to the South West Coast path and provides an excellent base for visiting the many and varied attractions and beaches of North Cornwall and beyond.

Amazing staycation at Anchor Cottage
We were so grateful for such an amazing experience at Anchor! We enjoyed a fry up at the farm shop, coastal walks, jumping into the (chilly) harbour, and relaxing by the fire! The rooms were fabulous and the kids enjoyed staying in the bunk beds while our oldest got the luxury of a room to her self! The house was amazing and the property manager and owner were lovely. Overall a great experience, recommend to all. Thumbs up from us!!

Amazing place
It's hard to imagine a more ideal base for launching into the splendor of the Cornish coast. The Old Anchor Cottage is clean, spacious and well-appointed, situated at the end of a quiet lane with unobstructed views of Boscastle's idyllic fishing harbour. The coastal trail is steps from the front door -- head northeast and the farm store/restaurant is just a 30-minute walk, go south for a more adventurous day's hike to Tintagel Castle and back. My brother-in-law is writing a book on one of America's great walks and he was blown away by this area. Carolyn was very prompt and attentive to our questions, but her welcome guide left few of them unanswered. The town itself has a handful of friendly pubs and dinner at The Rocket Room was the culinary highlight. Highly recommend the whole experience.

Beautiful location
Excellent property in brilliant and beautiful location, a relaxing stay was had by all. Slight grumble, very slight, that the terrace area was a little overgrown with weeds etc, but this never detracted from our enjoyment, would highly recommend a stay here 👍

Perfect location, lovely cottage
We loved staying at Anchor Cottage. We were lucky enough to have a week of wonderful weather and we swam every day in Boscastle harbour at high tide, enjoying jumping from the rocks into the clear sea below. The views are wonderful and it was great to be within walking distance of the village so that we could pop to the shops or for fish and chips at Sharon's Plaice! It was also a bonus to be able to walk along the coast path to the Boscastle Farm Shop - great for a Cornish breakfast!

A very welcoming break
Anchor Cottage is beautifully presented and equipped. Very comfortable and more than big enough for only the 4 of us for the week. The location is great, with fantastic views from the terrace across the harbour and to the headland points on the coast, with incredible scenary along the soutwest coastal path to Bossiney Haven and across to Tintagel. If you are planning to go anywhere outside of Boscastle in the car you will run the gauntlet of visitors to the harbour but as long as you're patient that was easy enough. As a base, Boscastle was great, the roads were pretty good and it's easy to get to the beaches near Bude or to Tintagel to see the castle. We used a company called Freewave for Surf lessons and they were excellent. A couple of niggles were overcome very quickly by Nick, the owner, with extremely prompt communication. Would recommend and would stay again.

Idyllic Cornish Haven
The last cottage in the village with the coastal path literally at the doorstep. This superbly renovated cottage is the perfect place to return to in the evenings after long days exploring the walks, beaches, seafood & surf Cornwall has to offer. Simply Wonderful !

Perfect house and location
This house is idyllic -situated above Boscastle harbour and directly on the coastal path, you couldn’t ask for more. It has been beautifully and thoughtfully concerted to provide 5 star luxury, with a perfect location. We would love to stay here again
