We never got the TV to work; internet was intermittent; it took several minutes for water to be hot after running it; and the freezer in the refrigerator needed defrosting. It was a spacious room, with a tiny and functional kitchen area. Public transportation was very near and it was close to restaurants.

I would recommend staying in another area, a bit unsafe feeling at night compared to the other areas of Bordeaux. Good price for a room but I bit dirty and the breakfast was not worth the 10 euros, go to a coffee shop instead.

Nice staff, walk into town, near all the nightlife. Hotel needs a good deap clean. Found loads of spiders and bugs in the room. We had no coffee or milk, which would have been good. Tv, and AC was good. Comfy bed and pillows:

Everything looks kind of dated... and the area looks a little dodgy. However, it was safe and close to the city center. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking for a reasonable fee

Disappointing location and room.
Hotel is okay, good aircon and decent room size. Bad points are really the location, not the best. It’s okay but there are far better locations more central, which also seem safer than this area. There’s a gate you have to get through to get to reception, not ideal when checking in and you don’t have the code yet. Room was okay but the shower is awful, it’s a handheld shower head in a bathtub, with no where to hang it to shower.

Close to the centre, secure parking
I booked a suite for myself and family - 2 adults and 2 children. The room was plenty big enough and the beds were comfy. The little kitchenette was useful and the bathroom was slightly tatty yet fully working. There is so much to see in Bordeaux and it was a great base to explore. You are a 10 minute walk away from Place de la Victoire and Rue Saint Catherine which then leads you to all the main places of interest. The hotel itself is very secure as it is behind locked gates. We parked our rental car at the hotel and it gave us peace of mind to know it was so safe. I booked this hotel using my Tesco Clubcard Vochers and it was a great way to use them. If we were to return to Bordeaux I would definitely stay here again.

I would highly recommend
Fantastic place to stay, not too far from the city centre with great public transport. Ideal with a kitchen, great sized bathroom and good aircon. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Overpriced for type of aparthotel although ours was a late booking so perhaps that's whey it was a high price. Rooms are basic and reasonably clean. Towels were not changed each day. told to leave on floor but nobody came to change them. Staff pleasant and helpful. The facility to leave luggage on departure day is very good, as is the 12 noon checkout time.

The property needs renovation, especially the bathrooms and kitchen furniture. The bathtub area and ceiling were mouldy and the furniture around the tub area was humid and coming apart, totally run down. The air conditioning did not work durong my two night stay. On the first night the reception was closed after 10:00 pm, so I couldnt report it. The next morning the maintenance man came and confirmed that the ac was not working. I left and he said he would fix it. He drained a bucket full of water that filled up again in two or three hours and then the ac wouldnt work again. In summary, on my second and last night I didnt have ac again. One thing I can say is that the manager did try to help by coming at around 9:00 to drain the water again. At least it worked for a couple of hours until it filled up again. In summary, I have to say my stay was not pleasant.

Excellent Base
Secure parking and gated access to hotel. Right in centre and excellent selection of bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. Very comfortable bed and useable kitchen area. Very good selection at buffet breakfast and the pastries were warm.

A good hotel with secured access and parking located in a residential area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very quiet at night. Walking distance to the central parts of the city is reasonable. There is a large French market nearby, which was very interesting to us. Internet access security was too complicated, I wasn't able to connect one of my 3 devices at all.

Lovely staff but disappointing mouldy bathroom
We stayed at Victoria Garden for 3 nights in January for a short City break. The hotel is situated less than 20 minutes walk away from the city centre. From the airport, it will take about 40 minutes on the bus or 20 minutes in a taxi to get to the hotel. The hotel is set back from the road making it quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. The staff at the hotel are lovely and very helpful, they made us feel very welcome. However, the room that we were given was disappointing. The bathroom floor and doorframe had significant and visible water damage and mould. There was also a number of flies in the bathroom.

Hypoallergenic pillows
Excellent location, facilities and staff. Only one small issue, the hotel use feather pillows which triggered my allergies. Reception advised they didn’t have hypoallergenic pillows. I was able to stuff a few cushions into the pillow case as an alternative although not ideal.
