The property is well located and easy access in and out. The good features are the restaurant for lunch or dinner and proximity to Blackheath and other Blue Mountains attractions. Also, the pricing is quite reasonable. what needs to improve is the room lighting totally inadequate and there is no wardrobe so very little hanging space if two people are staying. The breakfast whilst complimentary is disappointing. Would rather pay and get something hot and enjoyable. The bathroom was certainly not new, basin was stained and again no space for toiletries. The staff are very friendly and that helps but some things need to be attended too in order to get a four-star rating.

What a find!! Brilliant property, good location, hot tub was great but the kicker was the restaurant!! The food was sensational and staff and service were brilliant...turned a weekend away into a fantastic memory...we will be back!

We drove in from the town on blackheath wanted to just have a small anniversary getaway. Check in was ok , we wernt really welcomed or made aware of anything in or around the the property for example (a tea room and an internal corridor to get to reception) the rooms tv was severly broken so we went back to reception to let then know. We had to wait for a repair man that said that it was unfixable. Then had to wait on wether they would decide to repair/replace it or move us.. they moved us after but this resulted in our booking for the hot tub to run over time because we had to wait for a descision. This was extremely inconvenient and we were just offered the same room equivalent as a replacement .. even though it was not our fault. Secondly , the booking platform we booked through said dinner was available. This is incorrect, we stayed on a monday and nearly everything is closed in this area.. so beware. The wine we ordered at the bar was out of stock but instead of asking what else we wanted they just chose for us. The room itself was nice and comfy but the wifi cut out constantly. I assume its because we were at the very back end of the building.. Lastly, in the morning we walked in for the complimentary breakfast. We had zero greeting and were given no direction. We decided to just get a plate .. the food was stale and aweful. The coffee was cold and the woman who was we think a staff member was all over the place. We thought she was a guest.

The property is well kept, rooms are spacious but have next to no storage which can be an issue for people who are staying for a bit longer and like to unpack during their stay. The rooms are well insulated so you dont even need the a/c overnight. Rooms are a bit noisy; you can hear people's bathrooms They urgently neee to fix the shower. Its a massive pain to regulate the temperature. You either freeze or get scalded with boiling water. I saw some other comments pointing to the same problem so not sure anything has been done. It's a good place to stay but our overall experience has been 'meh'.

Lighting is limited in the room. Staff is slow. The fire alarm randomly goes on and gets noise especially in the middle of the night. The kettles in the room were burnt from previous users and so were the replacements. All in all, not a very convenient stay

Very nice property. Sauna on premises was a big plus. Restaurant offered a great choice of food that was delicious. I have enjoyed my stay at this hotel over the Easter Holiday weekend.

The Kyah was aesthetically pleasing to the eye . The keyless entry was convenient. The rooms were very dimly lit . There was no where to hang wet clothes in the rooms without them dripping over the floor, ideally an outdoor area to hang clothes would be ideal. limited places to hang clothes in the rooms . We also found that limited areas to eat food that we had purchased ourselves as there is no table and chairs in the room that we had and only chairs and no tables in the outdoor area. We also had a small incident where our reserved spot for the hot tub was double booked which was very disappointing the staff did offer a different time but it was inconvenient. Overall a lovely place suited for one or two nights only . We stayed 6 nights would not stay there for a long stay .

We went for a girls' night away and it was so pretty. The rooms were really clean and neat, the staff were really friendly. The breakfast grazing table was amazing. If anything, would just suggest a bit of extra lighting in the bathroom but that's all. We'll stay again when we come to the blue mountains...

What an amazing gem tucked away in Blackheath!! The Palm Springs vibe is so cute. The staff were amazing and helpful, the property is super cute, the room was amazing, bed super comfy. We only utilised the hot tub but that was a treat for us and so relaxing. Breakfast was yummy and staff again super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this little gem to everyone!!

We loved staying at Kyah Hotel! The place is really nicely finished, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Convenient parking, and great facilities. It was great having a restaurant on site for convenience and the breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend, we couldn’t get over how good it was for the price!

Lovely grounds and restaurant was good however short on staff and room not taken care of after we returned from long dsy hiking; after finally finding someone jt was rectified. Phone type keys were a bit tempermental.

Tastefully renovated and reasonably well kept place. The staff at check in was a bit let down…they sent me an email with steps to follow including to download an app to receive a key code to my room, I spent quite some time to follow it but it didn’t work, so I ask the staff at check in, who said it was not going to work because they do not have my credit card number, so I ask why they send the email wasting the guest’s time, instead of acknowledging the issue, the staff tried to justify the email… Another let down was it had nice breakfast but no juice…when asked whether there is juice, told ‘no, but you can order freshly squeezed juice for extra fee’…coffee was ordinary…they had espresso machine but you had to pay extra fee to have it…hmmmm….well, breakfast included is not the case that it is provided for free, it is paid by the guests as a part of accommodation…and generally hotels do not try to make money on juice and coffee…I found it unusual and not so satisfying…would I recommend this hotel? Yes and no, totally depending on the price…

Liked the room decor and overall appearance of the property. Not impressed with the lighting in the room - could barely read except under the reading lamp in the only chair in the room. Weird considering the bed was a king and booked for two people. Dining was ordinary - limited menu, service ordinary (waiter looked scruffy), breakfast looked great but in reality terrible with no cereal, juice only from bar at unspecified extra cost, croissants stale. Would not return to this venue

This was a real gem. The hotel has been stylishly renovated and is extremely comfortable. The breakfast spread is a great bonus too. Nothing else in Blackheath comes close to this in the price range.
