"A very clean and well appointed option in the Black Hills. Great view from the back deck and the patio heater came in handy in the evening. Nice to be out in the hills where our dogs could run around and burn off some energy in the mornings and evenings. Easy check in and check out and the hosts were great to work with."

"This residence has what you need as a great hub for the surrounding places of interest. We appreciated two full baths, a large kitchen and large common area. We would have enjoyed a larger coffee maker or even better a Kuerig! Parking was a bit sketchy!! But not a deal breaker. Communication with Shannon was seamless."

"Two complaints. We were at the mercy of the main floor thermostat. Night temps were too warm. TV options were awful, especially on the weekend. All TV options were "free" Visio "channels". No Local networks for news or weather. Not one national football game available. VISIO free channels are not real channels. Please consider adding a real stove and a real refrigerator. "Amazing accommodations! The Depot was exactly as it looked! Dishes and everything else you'd need, it was all right there. My 17yo loved the Hideaway bed and my 15yo son slept on the nice loveseat cause he is not "normal". Haha. The hosts were great and I would fully recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a fun and exciting stay in the gulches near Deadwood and Lead! "We had an impromptu Labor Day family trip. Scott was so accommodating and helped us with all our questions. The deck was amazing to make smores and there is a massive lawn played games on and even an outdoor batting cage which was a "hit". Basement is full of games and theatre seating with a very cool bar with memorabilia."

Beds were super comfy and we had all we needed in the kitchen to prepare breakfasts and lunches after a quick trip to grocery store. "Quiet, comfortable hotel. One thing I didn't realize about residential hotels is that most of the guests are there for an extended period of time so in general they will be quieter than guests at other hotels. In addition, there will be fewer children around. Excellent breakfast every morning in a clean breakfast room."
