The lady manager was very rude and non respectful.. she got her her husband to intimidate us.. he was rude as well. Other guess also said the same.

Got two rooms
First room door didn’t lock wanted to get manager but said it would possibly be next morning. After a while we got another room. Musty smell
Second room visible mold but we couldn’t get a new room or money back because we went through hotels.com. So we were stuck. Mold on the ceiling under fridge and on the lamp. I have suffered a migraine every day since Saturday morning. I slept in my truck the last night until it was time to pack up and leave. This was made aware and nothing they could do because they were “sold” out

Property was clean and recently renovated and the beds were extremely comfortable. Shower did not have a lot of press but was larger than expected.
A lot of foot and vehicle traffic around the hotel but dining options were plentiful and staff were great.

Ma'am you never checked into the hotel. You didn't call the Expedia in time for them to cancel your reservation. We held your room for you until 4am, waiting until that time for the cancellation to come through. As we held the room, we have to charge you for it, whether you stay or not.

My overall experience was terrible.. 1., My TV remote didnt work.. 2., I had an ironing board wit no iron.. 3,. Flies in the room, 4., roaches.. I can say that the bed was comfortable & the mini coffee machine worked..

Staff was pleasant. Room was clean had an odd smell but it was a nasty smell more like something was sprayed. AC worked great. It was mostly quiet which was nice waffle house is next door and a few rowdy crews came through.
Seen a few roaches in our room we only stayed 1 night. Bed was ok as far as comfort. Our sheet and 2 pillow cases had what appeared to be burn holes in them and we were in a non smoking room.
Shower spout was broke from thr wall but the water pressure and temp was great.
We had 2 towels and one was pretty stained. They were very small towels also.

AWFUL.. ROACH INFESTED. Arrived for check in lobby was clean smelled good went to room turned lights on roaches crawling on the couch. Immediately went back to the lobby. She sent her husband up to check the room like I was lying gave me another room promised it was clean. Went to check it first cut the light on and like 100+ baby roaches crawling all over the floor. Went back to the lobby told her asked for a full refund and she then got nasty. Finally issued a full refund and left to attempt to find another hotel. This place needs to be condemned.

i didn’t like the the errors First i was told i didn’t report there wednesday ? i called an spoke with someone before the june 29. an they didn’t have my reservation , even when i show the red roof my reservation on my phone, it was a big mess . i had to do it there which took awhile? so why do i need yall

We cannot change reservations made through Expedia, if you booked the wrong day, we are not responsible. We did try and get things straightened out for you once you arrived here, but it takes time when going through Expedia.

I didnt even get the chance to stay, I forgot about the reservation because my mother got sick and was in the hospital....so I didnt even get to make my trip. the fact of the matter is I still got charged for a room I never set foot in.

Any reservation made through Expedia must be canceled or changed through them. Furthermore, when you make a reservation with a hotel, we hold that room for you, preventing us from selling it to someone else. Therefore, we have to charge for the room, whether or not you show up.
It was dirty and there were bugs. Soap was open and used. Couldn’t get alarm clock to work. Guy was nice but there was no service to room. Had to go to reception to get soap. No shampoo.

I had to deal with deadly kissing bugs that look like stink bugs I had to kill 4 of them I believe I got bit when I slept on couch.
I had to ask to be moved into 3 different rooms because of the mold growing on the walls. The owners were very nice about it but even the last room smelled weird but at least it didn't have mold growing on the walls. Would not stay again.
Went here to see Pearl Fryar Topiary Garden.
So sorry to hear that he is not well.
Enjoyed going to the garden.
Disappointed by bugs biting me while sleeping!!
Staff was friendly but not attentive. Ice machine did not work First room the refrigerator did not work and the toilet would not flush. I was moved to another room the toilet was loose. Stale/musty odor and bugs in both rooms had to buy bug spray. Stayed due to being in town for a funeral and no other options.

Floors dirty; cigarette burns in bed sheets and bed spread and on bathroom countertop; bed sheets were very very worn it made them feel dirty and they had stains.
It was in a great location close to everything but did not like the fact that smokers had butts all over the ground and some ashes were in our car like they were throwing butts from top level . Other than this everything else was fine .
The room has ants and there was a hole in the bedroom wall. There were exposed wires in two of the plugs! The people were nice but the condition of the hotel was very run down and the bugs were awful!
A clean, safe place to rest your head. Was in town for the NASCAR races at Darlington and stayed three nights. Room was very clean upon check-in and was cleaned / beds made each subsequent day. Inside of rooms are updated nicely. Good value for the price and would stay here again!
