"Hotel fine for a quick stopover. I thought Malmaison was a little more upmarket than I found it but room was a good size, clean and the bed was comfortable - my only complaint was that you could hear a lot of voices from the corridor and adjoining room but this didn’t continue too late into the night. Reception staff were pleasant enough but slow and unable to help with basic questions such as ‘where can I find a postbox?’. The hotel was in a good location for what I needed and I would stay again should I need to be in that area."

"Great welcome and easy guide through the services available during the stay. Apartment equipped with all you would need for a short visit. Sofa bed was very comfortable and easy to bring out and put away. Probably one of the calmest places I've stayed in. Great location for easy access to the city. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and great facilities. Only stayed for one night but enjoyed a quick swim in the pool and had a lovely evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. Bedroom was a good size with comfy bed and everything needed for an overnight stay. The only thing that I think could be improved is the check in. The young girl on the desk gave me very minimal information and didn’t explain the £50 deposit policy very well at all. I had to ask all the questions regarding breakfast timings, use of pool etc and I feel this should have been offered. It was otherwise a great hotel and I would stay again and recommend it."
