The room was contemporary and generally clean. A little dust around the wardrobe doors and lampshade over the bed. The traffic noise was quite loud as the sash window is only half double glazed. Overall, a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will stay again when we’re back up in the area.

I have stayed at the Himley many times over the past 10 years. For a long time it has been in need of a refurb. Finally this has happened and the hotel has been transformed into a wonderful boutique hotel. The quality of the refurbished rooms is excellent. A lovely place to stay.

Friendly and welcoming, staff dealt with queries effectively. The restaurant evening meal was delicious as well as the breakfast. I recommend the Farmer's breakfast. Room facilities and decor were great especially the coffee bags and the milk churn for fresh milk, which you could acquire at the bar. However, the bedroom was a bit stuffy so we had to keep the window open which for a light sleeper meant being woken early by traffic noise on the A449.

Lovely hotel with bar and restaurant. The room was very comfortable with excellent tea and coffee making facilities. Comfortable bed with very spacious bathroom. We did not eat in the restaurant but the food looked nice. The staff were very friendly the only down side was the prices of the drinks at the bar.

Newly refurbished, decent stay.
Recently refurbished hotel, really lovely spacious room. The only downfalls were the room door lock didn’t work & it was noisy as you can constantly hear the main door below opening and closing. Also cold room, I turned the radiator on but didn’t come on. Check in/out staff were great, very friendly. I ate in the restaurant on the evening, service VERY slow. It took 30minutes before anyone took my food order. Food was delicious and waiters were friendly. (Apart from the ‘host’ lady in black, very stern faced, rude & too busy bossing staff about to take notice of customers attention) Overall good stay. Excellent value for money.

Once bitten twice never again useless internet
Stopped before but thought everybody deserves a second chance but sorry youve blown it very very dated upstairs downstairs looks quite nice. And one basic must have now a days is internet and the dont have it

The hotel was clean and comfortable. However, is very dated and needs some updating doing. There is damp in the rooms and the bathrooms definitely need an update.

Room was very tired and windows rotten and not closing properly (room 9) lighting was inadequate and mattress was well worn. Bathroom was tired but the shower was very good
