“Very nice place to stay”

I stay here at least once a month. I never had any problem during any of my stays. Rooms are clean and comfortable and quiet. Rates have always been very reasonable. I like the place.

“Good for long or short stays”

There is plenty of shopping close by, plus the freeway, so it is ideal for long or short stay. There is also a public bus to Shady Grove metro which takes 15 mins and runs once per hour. The kitchenette is fine, but washing the dishes was difficult as the sink did not have a plug and no washing up liquid was provided

“Housekeeping needs more decency”

I was under impression that like any other hotel, the check-out time here was also 12pm. At 11am the housekeeper started banging my door. I opened the door and the african-american lady very rudely asked me if I was checking out. I told her that I will be checking out shortly. I still didn't know the correct check-out time. At 11:30 there was even louder bang on the door. It was so loud I thought it must be either police or some criminal. I looked through the peep-hole and I saw the same lady standing. I opened the door and asked her why she is banging the door when it's not yet the check-out time. In a very aggressive and rude voice she told me that when I am staying at the hotel, I should know the right check-out time. I was really upset with that kind of behavior. I stay in that hotel every month and never had this problem before.

“Good for long-term visitors”

The little kitchenette came in very handy as I was in town for a graduation and related party. I was able to help the family out with the use of the refrigerator and counter space. I did expect some amenities like shampoo, which was not available in the room or at the front desk. The front desk was not open in the morning even though the sign said it would be open at 7 a.m. The hotel was quiet and fit my needs.

“Nice, quiet room for an overnight stay.”

The hotel clerk was very pleasant. The room was clean and the heating system effective for the cold night stay. No noise to wake me. However, the shower water at 4:30 AM was only luke warm -- due to, per the morning clerk, a number of construction workers who exit earlier in the morning. Breakfast could be had at the nearby I-Hop restaurant. Lighting in the room and the TV were okay. Room also had a refrig., stove and microwave. I only used the 2-cup coffee maker and supplied coffee pack.

“Decent Hotel for low rates”

The hotel seemed pretty decent for the price.. But still the taps in the bathroom were all worn out and looked kind of dirty like the taps had "soriasis" Rest of the room was fine.. it would have been much better if they atleast had a room service.. Overall the stay was decent enough for the low price. People who look for high quality stuffs and most cleanliness, don't go to this hotel :)

“Not Impressed”

The heat in the room was pre-programmed to stay at 72 degrees F. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and a movie theatre. The kitchen inside the room was nice but without sufficient heat, this room can be beat by a cheaper hotel room that has plenty of heat.

“Not Clean”

I wouldn't take my shoes off in the room!
