"This is not a five star hotel. The bed and room furnishings (which were run down) were mediocre at best. It takes more than free chips and soda pop (free mini bar which it is not) or a button you can press for do not disturb to be a 5 star. I expect luxury accommodation, this isn’t even close. There was no bellman to greet you and help with luggage until you walked in and asked for help. There is no sound proofing on windows as stated so if your room is on the back of the hotel you are on the loading dock. My bathroom ceiling leaked two days in a row before they moved me and after requesting to speak with the duty manager I never received a call back. Would never recommend this place and Expedia should do a site visit to validate their 5 star status, strongly disagree."

"Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 7 days. Room was very spacious and had all kitchen appliances and crockery etc and fridge that was large enough to store supplies. Supermarket right at front door but other options for eating just down the street. So options to eat at home and prepare your own meal or go and get some food from surrounding area. Bathroom was large but shower over bath took a little bit of getting used to as was quite ahuge step to get in or out which may be an issue if your have mobility problems or elderly. Ysed the washing machine while staying but found it a bit tricky to work out how to use it as dryer but finally got there. There was now daily servicing of apartments but that is explained upfront before booking and again at check in. Did not find this a problem as allowed us to just get up when we were ready and able to sleep in if we wanted. We found this location to be very convenient with Borough station 3 minutes away and London Bridge station an easy 10 minute walk. Buses were also available right outside the door or up on the high street. We were able to walk to Tower Bridge and Tower of London and used the tube to easily get around to other sites. Although not out very late at night felt safe in this area. I would have no hesitation in staying here again or recommending it for travellers who want a little more room and able to do their own thing. There is 24 hour concierge if needed but did not need to contact them"
