Cosy, great value hotel
The real star of this nice, cosy 3* hotel in West Berlin is its reception staff - possibly the best I have ever encountered in any hotel in Germany! Buffet breakfast is also very good and is usually included in the room rate, making already excellent value for money even better. My room was spacious if a bit outdated. Single bed was big enough and comfortable. Bathroom design is very weird - radiator is positioned just next to toilet seat, making the use of toilet uncomfortable - never saw anything similar. Location of the hotel is fine, 5 min walk from metro (U Bahn) station and less than half an hour walk to KaDeWe department store, but surrounding area is a bit dull. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and great value for money!

One of the best hotel breakfasts I had in a decade! Very very nice hotel - Internet did not work well but they were very supportive to make up for it and it should be fixed by now. I can highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were excellent and the lady there was very efficient. The room was a good size and very well equipped. You're a bit outside the main centre of Berlin but the U and S travel options make it pretty easy getting around.

Lovely garden, good breakfast, very friendly staff especially the lady at breakfast. Rooms good size but a bit dated, bathroom a little tired. Nice, quiet neighbourhood with good restaurants within a few minutes

Good budget hotel
Although the room is not new, the size was big and the room was clean and you have everything you need in a room including kettle. The whole staff was just great. The location is not central but you will have an easy access to two different u-bahn lines so it makes it easy to reach the central. Finally the breakfast was good enough. Especially their homemade granola was perfect. Overall it is a good budget hotel.

Staff was very friendly, beautiful safe area. However no temperature control in room, bad WiFi connection, there was a smell coming from one side of the bed and we were charged for the sauna when we were under the impression it was included in amenities.

Room is OK, and hotel is extremely well located, near the center and in a quiet place. The subway is 5 minutes walk. Detail : the room doesn't have air conditioner, and the curtains in the morning don't work very well, the sun rays pass thru and you have to get up. Breakfast is medium, nothing special.

very clean, however it is quite a long walk from the Zoo station and there literally no shops around. The hotel is on a very quiet, but beautiful, street.

No aircon, no fans and it looks Dreadful
Really bad the hotel looks like a converted council flats. Toilet next to radiator do cold in summer and Burt legs in winter. Double bed I’d two single beds pushed together so part as the night goes on. No aircon or fans available 31c outside and 28c inside. Only fan in the building was in reception and he was sat outside as he was melting with the heat . Charged90% of cost of stay as booked six days and left after first night despite room not fit for purpose. There are a number of health and safety issues that are a really scare especially if you have kids no safety glass in internal door and no window stop on any floors if you want to climb out . Dreadful experience

Very good stay
I spent 4 nights in this hotel with my fiancee and we highly recommend it, staff is so kind, you can find everything you need in your room, and it is close to public transportation and to the city center. We have only one note about the mattresses that weren't very comfortable.

Veery good value for the money
A very clean hotel located on a primarily residential street. Easy to reach on U9 either Guntzel Str or Berlinner Str.. Berliner Str station is a little bit farther, but has a lift if you are towing luggage and want to avoid stairs. There are a couple of grocery stores about two or three blocks away.. Wifi is good but you have to log-in each time. the only two english TV channels are CNN and BBC news. the only complaint I have is that the light over the mirror in the bathroom was a joke. it appeared to be a small clip on light you'd find at Ikea and wasn't ideal for shaving under.. I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

the hotel is clean, but bed is too soft, and curtain is too thin to block the light, make it difficult to sleep after day light breaks. no free car park and of course no free breakfast. if you have windows open, you might be waken up by loud and noisy morning birds singing.

Good hotel at a good price
The hotel is only a short walk from 2 subway stations, so getting around in Berlin is really not a problem. Situated in a quiet little street. Staff very helpful. Huge rooms compared to other hotels and equipped with all you might need at your stay. Overlooking a little garden and some greenery you've found your secret spot to relax and unwind in the middle of a always busy city. Enjoy the breakfast in the wintergarden with lots of choices to get yourself prepared for the day. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. Rooms are clean, spacious and have excellent bedding. WiFi in the rooms and the lobby keeps you connected. I've found a new base for my business stays in Berlin.

Really nice simple hotel. Very clean and friendly staff that will help with anything. Nice big rooms. The breakfast is AMAZING.. worth every penny to start a day of sightseeing. Very close to the underground train and very easy to navigate. Not in the middle of the tourist sights but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

overall a nice hotel. ***Do not book this hotel if you have more then 2 people in your party*** I stayed at this hotel with my wife and 4yo daughter. Even though we had a reservation for 3 people, their rooms only have 2 single beds. I complained at the reception and was told to put the 2 beds together and my daughter to sleep in the middle, but with the type of beds they have there is still a hole in between the beds when put next to each other. I complained at the reception again and was told that if I wanted to have a third bed in the room i would have to pay an extra 31.50EUR per night, regardless of me having a reservation for 3 people. So save yourself from this headache and do not book this hotel if traveling with more than 2 people.
