Staff at entrance as very welcoming and good at check in. Main reason I chose to stay here was due to the fact it had parking. But issues I faced were poor internet connection, constantly having to turn internet off and back on on my phone. if you switched Wifi off and try to use your mobile connection, the building has poor signal coverage especially for EE. Not a comfortable bed, on both nights had a poor sleep.
The bedding is so poorly done, bulges over and on side. bathroom looks like its been pulled out of a Travelodge and thrown in. mold around the bathtub shower. shocks me how hotels can't simply clean of have maintenance remove and replace.
I asked for the pump on the conditioner to be changed, but this was not done.
the breakfast is okay. but on Sunday the service was really bad. I requested for a portion of pancakes and smashed avocado on toast. waited over 15 minutes. completely poor service and were unable to tell me how long it will take and made to speak to manager.
fruit is just brought and placed no quality check to see what the fruit is like. watermelon was basically just water no flavour. the avocado was not even ripe and not smashed how it should be. this is due to it not being ripe.
this is the 2nd IHG hotel I have been too, and to be honest I don't think I will stay in an IHG hotel again.
