Average hotel, relatively newly built (2000) with neutral decor.
Rooms were an acceptable size, with a balcony which faced the next door building. Walls & doors were thin and not very soundproof so might be noisy during peak season.
Location is good, in amongst the nicer back streets behind the marina's row of 70s & 80s blocks, and very near the park containing Bellver Castle. Local cafes, restaurants and shops are nearby, with tourist versions down by the marina.
The number 1 airport bus runs along the marina, 5 minutes walk away. Other local buses (3 & 46) go closer. Otherwise about a 25 minute walk into town.
Chocolates awaited my arrival. Room service answered promptly and brought my meal within 20 minutes. Perhaps by looking at my identification card, the hotel discovered that it was my birthday and a bottle of champagne appeared. Taxis were called before I could voice my request. The room was nicely appointed. I walked by while the cleaning staff was refreshing my room. One lady was wiping down the mirror behind the headboard. I have never witnessed such thorough cleaning! I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again.
Outdoor pool, and Sauna were nice. Indoor pool was out of service and jacuzzi was OK, but water was too cool. Overall, relaxing environment. You will need to take a bus to the beach or to town, but trips are easy enough. dis eat at the hotel, so can't comment on the food, but there are a lot of mice restaurants in walking distance.
"Amazing breakfast, good location and great value"
Myself and three female friends visited Palma in November, so didn't pay the extra for a sea facing room as we didn't expect to spend much time on the balcony. Just as well, as our room overlooked a very shabby derelict hotel swimming pool full of overgrown vegetation at the side of our hotel. Not a problem for us, but in the summer we would probably have paid the extra for a front facing room. What we saved, we spent in the fabulous choice of restaurants in Palma. The hotel was great, very clean and efficiently run, full of sailing people attending the conferences held every day in the hotel (it is right amidst the harbour so inevitable attracted the yachting fraternity). Our room was really comfortable, had a sofa and table which was perfect for relaxing in the room for early evening drinks before hitting the town. Breakfast was one of the best buffets we had ever experienced. There was absolutely everything you could wish for. Check out at 12 meant we didn't have to rush off first thing. the only downside was the walk into the main town centre was about 20-25 mins, but we soon discovered how cheap the taxis are. About 5 euros into town, only 18 euros to and from the airport. Overall, a great stay and I would recommend this hotel.
The hotel is in the centre of Palma so is close to the Plaza Espana and good for public transport. The hotel would suit businness travellers and people on a short stay. We stayed for eight days for a holiday and something more spacious with a balcony would have been better. The room was very clean although the glasses were not washed every day and some fittings were a little shabby such as the bathroom door. We were on the ninth floor and had a conventional metal key to our room, some rooms on the lower floors used swipe key cards and I suspect that they had been refurbished more recently. The breakfast buffets were quite good and the breakfast staff very pleasant. Staff at reception were polite but not particularly friendly.

Although not in a tourist area as such, this hotel is still in a decent enough place to access Palma and the rest of the island especially if you hire a car/scooter etc. Just don't expect loads on the doorstep.
The staff were friendly, we only stayed B&B so didn't speak to them much other than coming and going but they were always friendly and the front desk was always manned.
The room was plenty big enough for two, clean, really nice shower/bathroom. Good quality TV with a surprising number of channels but obviously we didn't use this too much. The balcony was spacious and had a table and chairs which was nice, sadly our room was on the back of the hotel which means not much view but you do get sun in the evening. To be honest, I think most people staying here won't stay in the room all that much so it is more than adequate in every way.
The pool is nice, quite small but as we were there in the 'off' season, this was no problem. Not sure how busy it gets in summer...
Breakfast was really nice. Not a huge choice but that shouldn't be taken as a criticism as they are catering for lots of different nationalities. They served 'healthy/diet' options, cold meats, cheese, bread, yoghurts, cereal and cakes/pasties. All the bread appeared to be made on site and the pastries definitely were as you can see the oven. Top notch!
Car parking is limited at the hotel and in the area but we had no real problem. Again, peak of summer this might be different.
Definitely would stay again!

A lovely hotel just up the hillside in Palma with great views, fantastically quiet yet near enough to be in the centre of Palma in a few minutes drive. Very large shopping centre within easy reach. Large comfortable beds, great bathroom with rainwater shower, lovely balcony and air conditioing that works.
