"Well-appointed 'executive' room had everything an '80's executive would need. Mini-sink, generous work surface, two mesh-style office chairs, a big(ger) screen TV and a separate bedroom with its own smaller flat screen. Only things this suite didn't have was USB charging facilities in the main room ... and a HVAC system that worked (!). Controller did nothing except display the current temperature. None of the buttons did anything. Checking the wall mount Amana AC/Heater, there were no signs of luge there, either. Unit was plugged in. Plug-mounted breaker had not tripped. There were no indicating lights on, no clue why nothing was happening. A call to the front desk produced nothing. "Maintenance has already gone home. Just wait, sometimes it takes awhile." No room change offered. Opened a window to cool things down. Closed the window at 4AM because it was very cold outside. (No heat came on, either). Advised front desk the HVAC was out at checkout. They took note and apologized, but offered no compensation. It was as if I reported a burned out light bulb. Obviously, this lavish '80's Executive Suite property has lapsed, and is getting a bit long in the tooth, and the (new?) East Asian management is not doing it any favors. Great location, very competitive price, but lousy customer care. "
