"Honeycomb for individuals, but great hotel overall"
The staff were excellent! The front desk staff all have some basic knowledge of English and they were helpful. The service was great! I would stay here again the next time I am in Beijing. I don't know if the honeycomb residence is worth it though because it literally is a honeycomb, with rooms stacked next to and on top of each other. There isn't a whole lot of privacy and space in the rooms. It's pretty much like a nice hostel, with shared bathrooms & showers, but with individual rooms. There is a luggage storage and a cubby (storage) for your bathroom essentials. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, but would probably not stay in a honeycomb room again. I would stay in one of the actual hotel rooms. They are all very unique and artistic.

"My favorite airport hotel"
When arriving or departing China I like treating myself to a night here to prepare for, or recover from long flight. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, great food, good shuttle service, etc. Just wish the rooms had more power outlets.

"Wonderful, luxurious base in Beijing"
Our family was most impressed with the hotel facilities. The room was super-clean and well-appointed with many nice details. The pool was an awesome place to escape/relax, and Kerry Sports was expansive, with exercise equipment and fitness classes. There was Kerry's Kitchen (excellent buffet), a Starbucks nearby, as well as plenty of restaurants in the Kerry Center. We didn't have to leave. But when we did, we were close to the metro and able to get to Beijing sights as well as get out to see the Great Wall. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.

"Never again."
We asked a non smoking room but the smell was terrible. The carpet is so stinky that you could find several holes from someone smoked in the room. The shower didn't work well we couldn't get enough warm water. Besides, the bath tub was leaking, we had to use the towels to dry the floor. There are cracks on the wall and the bed was so uncomfortable, I couldn't sleep for the whole night due to the bed and the terrible stinky smell. The front desk couldn't find my reservation and she couldn't read English either. Check out was ok.

Location is good at 3rd Ring Road as it is relatively close to the airport, but also well positioned for taxis into Beijing and the metro for site seeing and business. This is a great hotel with good service and interesting fellow travelers to meet.

"Good hotel for tourists"
We used the hotel as a base for sight seeing in amd around Beijing. It is centrally situated, but you do need to use taxis to get around, however, they are cheap (a 40 min ride from the airport was £7). We didn't use the bar or restaurant facilities, but they appeared pleasant enough, prices are what you expect any hotel to be. Nearbly, are shops and a small supermarket for your holiday needs. Some of the staff speak english fairly well, and there always seemed to be at least one on duty at any time, handy as I could only say hello and thank you in Mandarin. They were pleasant and helpful. Overall worth staying in, but if you want to buy something in the gift shop get a mortgagae! Visit to find out what I mean.

"Nice hotel in Haidian"
This is a great hotel from which to explore Beijing. It is very close to Peking and Renmin Universities. However you will need to travel a bit to get to the Tiananmen square and the Forbidden city. Having said that, the hotel is very close to metro lines 4 and 10 which makes moving around very easy. The hotel itself was great, with very professional staff and very comfortable rooms. Don't miss the breakfast buffet, which is excellent.

"Good Hotel"
Hotel was excellent. Room was clean. No smoking smell at all(it was in the designated floor). We used a place in the huge lobby area for business meeting. Many of the staff spoke English very well. They were happy to help with recommendations to sites to visit. (always preparing destination card for taxi.) There are nice restaurants near the hotel (some Korean as well). I had only one bad experience there. I ordered a package day tour from hotel stuff that offered it. It was very good, but I had a misunderstanding about the pick-up location. I was waiting in the hotel, when they waited elsewhere for me. The staff kept assuring me that everything is OK, but didn't call the travel agency. Only an hour later they called, and I had to pay for taxi to catch the tour minibus.
