The staff were generally friendly and helpful. My room (I was travelling solo) was really large, and I very much enjoyed the aircon. However, I stayed two nights, and my room wasn't done where I got back after the first night. I had put a sign on the door asking for a top up and for the bins to be emptied. I went to reception and talked to someone there, and mentioned this. Also asked for the bathroom to be looked at as it was very smelly. When I came back in the evening, my room was still in the same state (smelly bathroom, bins full and no coffee top up). I am disappointed by that. For Expedia: check-in time is 3 pm, and not 2 pm, as stated on your website, and also there is no pool (listed as an amenity in your website). Hope this helps other travellers.

Hotel needs a refurbishment desperately. Also woken up every hour with street noise. If you’re on a stag do or a group party, this would be better suited. But not for kids or a couple

Milton Keynes is a nice area. It is a really tourist attraction however, this hotel is the worst Travelodge I have ever been to. Check in online and on my itinerary said 2pm but on arrival staff said 3pm, the had no toilet paper and said they had run out (which made no sense for such a big brand hotel), the customer service was lacking and the hotel room was definitely one star and looked and smelled like a motel.

Property was dirty & in desperate need of refurbishment Massively overpriced for condition. Breakfast was dreadful too, waiting for hot food buffet which came out in dribs & drabs so went cold while waiting, no coffee, dirty glasses, drinks machines out of order. Charged for child breakfast when advertised as free. One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in.

Convenient for town and transport. Staff kind & helpful. Great to have a walk-in shower in the room, but it would have benefitted from a grab rail (while washing feet) and a shower mat, as whole bathroom floor got wet.

Checked in at 2pm, they said it wasn’t until 3 so we had to wait 40 minutes even tho Expedia said it was 2! Air con kept coming on all night even tho we had turned it off! We found an old sock under the bed that was t ours 🙁the breakfast was dry and hard

Between booking and staying, the hotel transformed into a Travelodge though not everyone has caught up with that yet as satnav sand Google Maps still show Ramada. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff but the hotel is near a late bar with a terrace and the drunken babble goes on until the early hours so not the place to stay at weekends if you want a quiet night. Parts of the hotel smell of drain.

Nice hotel close to the centre of Milton Keynes.
After we found the hotel ( the hotel had changed between the time of booking and arrival to a Travelodge) the staff were very pleasant although there was a lot of training going on for the Ramada staff by brought in Travelodge staff they were very pleasant. The room was very pleasant and although the hotel was in the centre it was quiet. I did find the restaurant menu quite restrictive with few options and on one night the sweet I ordered was unavailable.

Started well but I was unaware the hotel was going to change to a Travelodge during the period of my stay. Lots of staff confusion, room keys continually not working, cold showers (no hot water) expensive wifi for a slow connection, will be staying at the Jury's Inn next door from now on

what a hole this place is, would not give it one star. car park problems. Internet rip off, TV from 1970, flooring shocking, never again will I stay here can't, don't put yourself through it. Oh and food rubbish, impossible to say anything good, oh location good

Room was clean and relatively comfy but our stay was not great. The hotel was understaffed so nobody on the bar in the evening - had to keep popping down to reception to get service. Also card machine not working in bar which resulted in various items (some legitimate, some not) being charged to our room. I feel bad for staff here - it's not that they did a terrible job, just clearly don't have the support and facilities to ensure a great customer experience.

Decent stay, did the job.
Hotel was in a good destination, everything was clean and comfy just nothing spectacular compared too other Ramada's that I have stayed in. The bathroom was a great asset with a great walk in shower. The one thing that massively let it down was the TV, the sound only worked for 3 channels.

I arrived at the hotel a day late, I was sure this wasn't a problem as I had paid for two nights so it was me being out of pocket. A very close friend of mine had went into labour and I spent the first night in a hospital, I rang the hotel to inform them, when I arrived at the hotel they had said my booking had been cancelled, they quickly fixed this problem! I had paid for a double bed and received two single beds, felt like I was thirteen again! A lot of hassle to organise the Internet in the room! I had previously stated at the Mercure abbey hill, I'd sooner pay the little extra for the extra knowledge and accommodation they provide to each customer.

Right hand lift smells a little like sewage sometimes, supposedly a drain run beneith it. Wifi should be free but isn't. Other than those 2 points was a nice stay with a comfy bed and staff attentive.

Great stay for the snozone
Lovely hotel, clean, tidy, comfortable, excellent location within 10 minute walk to the snozone! The only thing I could criticise was the reception staff. She was not welcoming and did not acknowledge us at the front desk for some minutes; she seemed quite stressed. Our friends had checked in earlier and she ended up giving us the key to their room rather than our own.

only a short stay...very bad impression
I was very disappointed with my overall experience, had to pay for parking additionally, breakfast was a further £10. My room (225) didn't lock from the inside and I felt very unsafe the whole night. There was no info in the room about when breakfast was, or how to order room service or contact reception. I paid for my additional parking on check in and was then demanded to pay for parking when I left. I told the girl I had paid and she then went and got her manager like I was some common criminal. the tv in the rooms picture was fuzzy and half the channels didn't work. two hotel staff were sat out the front of the hotel smoking as I arrived. Then Security shouted at me for trying to enter the car park without a password, do they not realise people may not know the lay of the land when they check in. The man shouted at me through the intercom and I calmly asked where to leave my car as I checked in and he said "WHEREVER YOU WANT LADY" grossly unprofessional.

Okay stay.
Stay was lovely, it was nice to be away from reality for a while, felt like o was else where rather then Milton Keynes. Only down fall, I asked for an iron Saturday night and it rook them 45 to get it to the room. My partner at one point went down to reception and asked and was still waiting 15 minutes to get one. The woman that gave me the iron was also very rude to me at the door. But overall the stay was lovely the hotel was clean and smelt fresh and the man that checked us in and out was lovely to.

Clean, tidy and friendly
Hotel was well priced, clean and tidy. Nice and quiet and despite the queue to check in at 4:30, staff were friendly and efficient. Shower was a wetroom, but not overly powerful. The room was nice and spacious and bed was comfortable. I'd stay there again.

When we arrived there was only one person working on reception and a massive queue so took quite a while to check-in. I asked for an iron to be sent to the room ASAP as we needed to leave more or less immediately for a meeting. The iron did not arrive, reception was either constantly engaged or did not answer. We had to leave the room for then evening without ironing my shirt. I could not even complain as it was the same individual on reception (not her fault) so would have to queue again for ages (and didn't have time) just to complain about the iron so decided to leave it. A bad experience overall. We even decided not to stay at the hotel overnight and stayed at friends so was £60 wasted overall.

Hotel is in a great location and is adequate for what we were looking for in somewhere clean and comfortable to change and sleep. Rooms are basic but do the job. Not somewhere is choose for a romantic night away and our room overlooked some of the bars so was a bit noisy but after many cocktails we had no trouble sleeping through it!

Awful booked 2 rooms after long queue to check in had to return 3 times because key card didn't work,kettles broken in both rooms,used cracked glasses in bathroom and tele not working in 1.The worse bit was the noise from the floorboards,when the people in adjoining rooms walked about it was so loud it seemed like they was in room with you.When i complained manager said she knew they had lots of maintenance problems at present and told me to email in and get my money back,i didn't want my money back just a good nights sleep.Worse Ramada i've ever stayed in
